Just wondering what you guys did. I mostly worked as a sailing instructor. It was fun, nothing too exciting happened.

I went to Germany, Rock climbing, Camping, worked out, skated and a lot more. This is the most I ever did in a summer. Usually I would go to summer school and play on the computer all day.

Good for you, Echo. It's a good thing not being on the computer.

I went to Mallorca with my gf and her family, messed about on the computer, read a book about Islam, and I'm currently working driving vans for a supermarket chain (ASDA/Wal-Mart...)

I'm now waiting for some more books to arrive which I need to read by the end of September.

Relatively ancient and inactive

I can beat Germany. I was in Russia for 4 weeks, Sweden for two days, Finland for two days, Denmark for one day.

I didn't really have much of a vacation. I worked on a movie that was shot in June (16 hours a day of heavy lifting), and then I immediately hauled ass (usually 12 - 16 hours a day) until my cartoon was finished on July 27th. Then I had a couple of weeks to fart off before the semester started. And fart off, I did.

Ha. Ha. Ha. I don't get my summer vacation until December. I hope to do something worthwhile, instead of my usual routine of get up, eat, sit at the computer for ~16 hours, eat, sleep, rinse, repeat.

The first five weeks did I mostly play WoW (rather unstable weather, so the water never got any good temperature, means no point going out :P). Exceptions were when my mom got tired of me and I had to go with my dad on work (he's a lorry driver(<--would never have guessed that's what it's named if it wasn't for online dictionary)). That means two quick trips to Sweden, I think...
The last three weeks my parents also had vacation. We went to the Netherlands the seventh week. There we were on a huge truck festival (Truckstar. Was 3000 trucks there! :omfg: ).
The last week me and my dad went to Sweden (yeah, again, love the country <3).

In rough chronological order: Stayed in close proximity to the computer, had a birthday, got a Wii, played it for 13 hours and 36 minutes straight the third day I had it (UGH!! I WAS SO CLOSE! I didn't even mean to get so close to 13:37 though. :)), went camping, read Rocket Boys for homework, did more homework, rejoiced when SeN came up, started highschool band with my older brother, became friends with his friends, did tons of backflips, got a kink in my neck from the first one, and here I am. I plan to go bowling tonight. Liberally sprinkle hanging out with friends and computer time and you have my summer. :P

Vrael shouted: Idk, I was looking more for a dehumidifer company which maybe stands out as a beacon of relief amidst damp and unpredictable climates of bustling metropolises. Not sure Amazon qualifies
sounds like moisture control is often a pressing concern in your city

Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?
