Some functions to feature UMS maps as "official" forms of gameplay. Like having ladders or skill-based match making for non-melee stuff. There's tons of good UMS maps even for vanilla SC with good design, gameplay depth, and requisite "pro" players to warrant that kind of attention. And it would certainly inspire mappers to pursue making those kinds of maps.
