Hi, I just did a remaster of "Enslavers" the official Blizzard campaign, I made it harder with some new features. Hope you'll enjoy. :)

Enslavers NIGHTMARE MODE

1 player maps.

The maps are basically the same than the original enslavers with the same objectives but harder, I tried to include some text color because it is beautiful & new units & events to challenge the player. For exemple, in the mission 2a I put much more air defenses around the captive protoss to make the map less cheesable. There is one more zerg AI to challenge the player. And after 20 minutes, Schezar's flagship (which is a BC with a lot of HP) come to harrass the player. In mission 3a, the protoss temple spawns a hero (just like the Torrasque in 3b) which has a shield that is upgraded to level 200 (which mimics how SC2's immortals work because it can basically only take 0,5 damage from attacks) etc.

I wanted to do this because I really like the canon StarCraft campaigns from Blizzard. But as the years passed, people got much better at the game and these missions are not really challenging anymore...

Also, I made the maps .scx, so they must be played on BroodWar, but the player can't afford to build BroodWar units & upgrades. They'll have to use the original units as the maps were supposed to be played, because some of the maps are way easier with BroodWar tech (mind controlling Torrasque in Enslavers3b for example).

The campaign is complete, unless some people report some fixes to be made. :)

In short, what I did use to make the campaign harder:
_More enemy AIs.
_Less starting resources & less resources in main base.
_New enemy units.
_Enemy bases more defended.
_Early scripted attacks.


I tried to make the easiest missions way harder, and the hardest ones just a bit harder.

A topic that is found lacking in effort, uninformative, or underdeveloped may be closed or removed at moderation's discretion, with or without warning; you may then request the old thread to be opened or open a new thread for it yourself when you are ready.

This is still a really sloppy presentation my guy. For one thing, you should edit the initial post with info rather than making a new one down below. For presentation, I'd recommend trying the Map Production Template. For screenshots, use the IMG BB code to embed the image in your post rather than simply linking to it.

Yes you are right, I am very bad at talking about stuff I do & English isn't my native language. I'll do my best. :)

Yeah, unfortunately some image hosts seem to have issues with embedding. I tested with your link and had the same issue. Personally, I'd recommend imgur.com, it's free and works great.

I know using a second language can be tough, couple spelling tips:

Ennemy should be enemy, and ressources should be resources.

Your initial post is already looking better, but please do check out that Map Production Template link I posted, nice presentation and formatting in your post will make people much more likely to take your map seriously.

I LOVE when people make hard mode of older campaigns. I put it on my check list and will check out.

Not a big fan of this one because getting resource starved isn't fun in my experience.
Since you called it "nightmare" I guess it must be hard and really hope it will kick my ass, that's what SC veterans need these days when you're tired from playing same thing over and over again.

This one is subtle actually. I just didn't want to player to turtle and mass last tier units.
