I am in the process of updating my map One Piercing Note for the remaster. One is spacing out the terrain tiles obviously because as you can see in the images they're too close together now with the remaster.
The other as you can see is the leaderboard. Previously by inputting a large number into the leaderboard it became invisible, now, it is visible. They have patched that. Also I used an extended player colour to hide the colour box in top left, which now I also can't seem to do.
Anyone have any solutions for these leaderboard issues, or am I stuck with having a coloured box and a number? (It's a minor aesthetic issue, I know, but one I would like to solve if a solution exists.)
Sincerely,
Oh_Man.
If EUDs are fair game here, then you can reserve "line 1" of chat/text for the leaderboard text. It wouldn't be at the very top of the screen, but pretty close. Doing this without EUDs would involve changing every string of dialogue in the map, somewhat possible.
I don't know about hiding the numbers, but for the colored box, you can change the player's minimap color to palette index 0 to make it invisible. Assuming it's Player 1 with the default red player color,
EUD Modify Memory: subtract 7274496 for player ID -8548 (0x00581DD4) should do it if I'm not remembering incorrectly.

Is this it? Didn't work for me.
Try typing -8548 in the first text entry, this is what works for me.

It doesn't work. The box is still there.
Repeating leaderboard action with EUD hyper trigger (Set 0x6509A0 to 0) will hide the number.
Minimap color and leaderboard color use same address, 0x581DD6
http://farty1billion.dyndns.org/euddb/?pg=entry&id=406 . Default Red color is 111, and Jungle palette index 0 is black, so subtracting 111 << (8 * byte offset(==2)) = 111 * 65536 = 7,274,496 should work on Player 1.
