You can read the whole article here.Read their Patch Notes here.Update:
The mapmaker Rodrigo asked about the handling of already published maps on the 1.4.3 realms when patch 1.5 is deployed. This is what Blizzard's community manager Daxxarri answered:
No, they won't be wiped out, but since we've added and changed so many things with map data and the StarCraft II engine, maps should be probably be updated and re-published after 1.5.0 goes live. In the meantime, pre-1.5.0 maps may be cordoned off some-how until they're updated. You'll still be able to find and play pre-1.5.0 maps, but they won't have any of the new features until they're updated.
Once pre-1.5.0 maps are updated with a type (SC2 / Arcade) and genre, then re-published, they’ll appear in the correct spot.

They made a lot of changes to the battle.net UI. They added a "Quick Nav" to go to some game options pretty easy (and via F-keys, too).
Oh. There is an "Open games" for arcade....
._. you have to download 8gb first
None.
This is the kick I need to start SC2 mapping.
Now I just need to find good SC2 editor beginner videos...
Couldn't get it to install/download properly.
Meh.

Correct me if I'm wrong but the "Open Games" section is pretty much like how the original b.net used to work by showing games (sorta) being hosted yes? This is all I cared for.
None.

It just lists the map name and it's some selection of all hosted games (afaIk) as that list can be very huge.
So you don't have ten billion DOTA maps in the list. That's what I imagine it was the case in wc3.
In general that allows you to get some people into your own map. At least if people use that feature.
edit:
Other new stuff:
- You can add a website link to your map's arcade presentation. I linked my production thread here.

Banelings will now auto-cast Unburrow if a Colossus comes within their attack range.
Well that sounds... wait. Why?
Colossi are the counter to banelings now?

No. It seems like the auto-unburrow option (right click the unburrow button) didn't work properly versus colussus.
It's a rare case that a player uses that and a single colossus walks that path. So it takes at least 2 years before that is noticed...

Updated with info about the destiny of currently published maps on the 1.4.3 realms.
