My sister's got a laptop with Windows 7 Home Premium, and she can't remove the password from it. She's an administrator and whenever we try to remove the password, a message comes up saying:
I've googled some things, but nothing's worked. There are come cmd commands that people have said to try, but none of them work for me (there was one where you run gpedit.msc and type something in, but I couldn't even run that). How to fix?

If your sister knows the password, change it to something simple then stick a Post-It with the password on the screen?
None.
I know what it is, but we don't want a password. It's annoying having to type in a password to get into the only account on the laptop. My account on this computer is the only account on it, and I don't need a password for it.
Have you tried changing the password first and then trying to remove the changed password?
I mean, I have no idea if it'll work, but it's worth a try "resetting" the password.
If worst comes to worst, why not just change the password to something like "a"?
Home editions don't have gpedit.msc. You have to manually change the settings in the registry instead for most of the settings.
None.
Group policy is a dumb blonde overhead for the registry editor. There's nothing GPedit can do that regular regedit can't.
None.
When in doubt, reinstall dat windows.
Its less harder than breaking things in your regedit and blaming yourself later for fucking up a computer, when you could have done things the easy way

(just random stuff you can try)
- try changing the password to (blank)
- try creating a new administrator account w/o a password
- try making it so the password expires, when it does change it to (blank)
- try creating a separate administrator account and try to remove/change the password to blank from that account
- remove the logon sequence entirely
