So I was busy trying to get madzombie's RPG to work (check game forum) and it said I needed to have a version of ".NET Framework" installed. So I googled ".NEt framework" to find a download, and google gave me a message.

Has this ever happened to you guys?

The full URL was this. No clue if that will work.

Also when you click "Why did this happen", this pops up

This page appears when Google automatically detects requests coming from your computer network which appear to be in violation of the Terms of Service. The block will expire shortly after those requests stop. In the meantime, solving the above CAPTCHA will let you continue to use our services.

This traffic may have been sent by malicious software, a browser plug-in, or a script that sends automated requests. If you share your network connection, ask your administrator for help — a different computer using the same IP address may be responsible. Learn more

Sometimes you may be asked to solve the CAPTCHA if you are using advanced terms that robots are known to use, or sending requests very quickly.

There's a number of reasons listed. Probably one of them or a combination of these.
If it's not happening again I wouldn't worry about it. No detection software runs without ever getting a false positive.

Yeah, but still it's a bit odd and makes me worry about infection.

Also I think it's funny how it refers to "robots". Makes me imagine a robot sitting at a computer typing on google.

That's because you usually use the short form: Bot.

Ofc I realize that, but it still sounds weird.

Update: it's still continuing to happen. Does this mean I'm infected or something? I really doubt someone would be using my internet service simply because I live in the boonies, away from everything, and someone would have to actually drive up my driveway to use it at all.

Either infected (you can just run a couple online checks to rule that out) or my bet would be a script of some kind. Maybe a tool bar. Those things can be pretty pesky, sneak in without you noticing or get installed with another program if you didn't read the installer instructions and unticked it.
