Veterancy + Splash damage

So, I'm pretty much done asking SC2Mapster. I constantly get bumped off the map development list. There are a few helpful people there, but not enough to rely on the site anymore. So for now on, screw SC2Mapster. I'm just gonna stay here for the rest of my life, Confined to a single fan-site.

Anywho... I modified the Test Veterancy a bunch of times and added them all to their corresponding units. Well, it works pretty well, except for the one unit.

It's a modified variation of the Firebat. It basically does the same thing with a bit less range and has much more strength. Well, when I go in-game and use it, it levels up properly, but it no longer does splash damage. Any idea about that?

Providing the map might help, though I already know I won't be able to help. ^^

Well, I'd assu-

..why are there 3 nudes at the top of the smileys? o.o

Anywho.... I'd assume I mentioned everything I needed. I mean, I give someone the ability to level and their splash stops working. Don't see how it's hard to understand and possibly see why.

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

It's not that we aren't helpful.
Maybe the reason is that nobody tried that before or never made a hero unit that can level up (like me).

My random blind guess:
Maybe there is a value that will effect the splash radius whenever you level up (maybe it's that "bonus" thing in the damage effect).

edit:
Btw, I've no idea yet, how the level up thing works. I've only heard that there are values which act as a multiplier with each level (e.g. there was a movement speed multiplier which caused heroes during beta not be able to much after leveling up).

Hello

Actually, how can you say that SEN isn't that helpful either? You said that not even 12 hours after you created the topic, I advice you to give us more time.

Ok, I messed around and the thing is when I added the campaign dependencies and attempt to create the veterancy behavior it gets created, but is not selectable in the list when trying to add a behavior to a unit.
However, for a hellion with veterancy behavior, the splash works. I'm pretty sure that the campaign dependencies are causing some errors, as I heard it before.

EDIT 2: what you can do is to create a complete new unit having the firebat stats and firebat models/sounds and add a veterancy afterwards to that unit.

Ya, I was upset when I posted that. Was having a terrible time with the internet and stuff.

Ugh, that'd take too long.. Better get to it. :(

So this is why you posted on SC2M today, giving them some informations you did not give us? :P
(Or it's just me that, again, do not understand at all your question. :))

Hello

No splash damage. When I tried to give the Firebat the veterancy behavior, it all seems to work, but he lost his splash damage.
What information has he given mapster that he did not give us?... If anything, he provided us with more information than he provided mapster.

If they reply with some possible help, I'm not just gonna leave it to get a possible solution. Actually, i found the problem. The veterancy had nothing to do with it, an effect was removed from the weapon in the data editor for some reason. I got it working now though.
