You can no longer have more than 100% space used (global space). Your attachments are not removed, though. You simply cannot upload anything else while it is above 100%.
For now, 10 MB is the default value for every member, which is like 10 real sc2 maps or maybe 30 or more tiny maps, like terrain only. Normal limit is being discussed in the staff lounge. I'll keep ya up to date when something changes.

It's Battle.net all over again!

10MB is a lot more generous than the 2MB (or -407MB
) that we had before, but it also means a lot less maps to upload since SC2 maps average quite a bit more than SCBW.
Members who mapmake a lot should start hosting on mediafire.com (and upload the final product to the DLDB - when it's fixed); mediafire has no wait before downloading (which is one-click), and you can register a free account to get folders to organize maps in and thus to help other people download your works. Plus, that means you can use the attachments for other things on the forums
.
Since you have mediafire, stay away from Megaupload or "Rapid"share or any of the other "premium download" sites. No, we are not wasting a whole minute waiting for a javascript countdown so you can get reward points. Please make it convenient for others.
