Is it possible to somehow render 12.3 completely independent and portable?

The main problem I'm having here is running Soku on computers that don't have DirectX 9 installed (otherwise, Soku runs just fine).

So, what I ask of thee is, how to make DX9 portable (I guess)?

I think Hydro is asking how to make 12.3 read the directX 9 libraries without needing to install it, since often he would not have administrative privileges on the computers in question.

Wouldn't be too hard I imagine, if you can edit the install stuff to a flash drive...but I've never tried.
