Introduction:

Guardians of Dolmen is a AoS type map I've been working on and have put in a lot of work. Hopefully people will enjoy it because of the amount of time I put into it :). First of all there is sixteen heroes you can pick from, each hero has three spells to battle their enemies with and upgrade them to become even stronger. Their is seven items to purchase in the item shop and also a dueling arena to 1v1, 2v2, 3v3, etc. The concept is simple, eliminate the other teams base and win, it has many concepts from DotA such as FIRST BLOOD and unlimited lives. Right now the map is in BETA mode which means it has ten out of twenty heroes playable and six out of seven items working and ready to be purchased. If you guys like what you read here in this thread and want me to post the BETA on SEN I'd be happy to, currently I've been playing the BETA with pubbies / SEN members and the feedback was exceptional.
Heroes:

(Short descriptions, I will write more in-depth descriptions at a later date.)

- War Stomp

3. Meditrina: A holy hero who loves god to it's fullest. She was raised by a nun in a orphanage and always had religion driven into her. Her spells are the best option to rely on when in need of health in the battle field. Meditrina is the ultimate support/healer hero to be.

I noticed in your intro, at first you said that there were sixteen heroes, and then you went on to say there were twenty. Just thought I would point that out.

Ok, I've played the map; my opinion:

GAME IS TOO SLOW. It starts out great, but toward the end, you feel like you should just leave because it's taking too long.
Need something to tell the players that the CC in base is the shop. Need separate shops for each team, so they can't see what the other team is buying.
Money option for the skill points needs to increment upward, so it doesn't become useless later in game.
The ghost science vessel spell is too short.
Bottom pathing is a bit small for large units; it also has a bunch of stupid lil dead end paths (usuall a 4x4 or 6x6 area) that do nothing, and do not help the heroes in any way (they are low).
Heath potion is a waste of money. For $25 less, you can just heal at base for wayyy more than the medic heals you. Medic also heal slowly compared to insta heal base.
The Khrydrian Crystal under the HQ prevents broods from attacking the HQ.
Bottom team's left spawn does not attack top team's final left cannon cluster (1 cannon is left alive, and therefor the barrack/acad are left alive).
Having final cannons invinc is stupid, as our team had about 200 spawn units camping the enemy heal, because they couldn't kill a cannon stack since we left that path alive. Just dragged the game out.
The anti heal camp is stupid. Just make it heal slower if enemy units are near the heal. And even slower if the enemy has more units by the heal.
Those gold runes or w/e don't give enough money to make them worthwhile.
Stack all those unnecessary buildings in some corner (the barracks, the sci fact) And keep all upgrade buildings in 1 place.
Remove those silly spell power powerup units on the left. Use death counters.
The map just looks really messy, clean it up. Use fog of war to cover the rest of the map; don't let players have vision of it.
Those skill point things can be in 1 island; you don't need 6, it's a waste of locations and triggers.
I would say the heroes are boring, but it fits the game style very well. Adding 1-2 combo spells might make it better. Still, it's already good.
The item usage area needs to be smaller. I forgot if you use a dship or shuttle, but use an overlord.(they have faster acceleration). When buying items, if the shuttle is over the "use item" beacon, many times, it will use the item you just bought. For the most part, there is no need for a "sell item" beacon.
HQ doesn't need 10k hp. Spawn does 12 and 5 damage, and heroes do like 100. No one wants to sit around to do like 90 attacks to a building.

I like the cost of upgrades.
I like the general terrain. It's blocky, but good to play on.
Good map, just needs some fixes. Has a lot of potential.

Thanks for your comments pigs, and I agree with 85% of what you said. I fixed the "dragged" feel to the game by lowering the cannons, barracks and HQ hp by a significant amount. I will get on to fixing most of those things you mentioned, as far the terrain I will make some tight spots more wider to be more accessible, thanks for the comments.

Just a small add-on to what pigs had tediously typed, Night Crawler's blink spell is a complete let down. The time to be able to use it is way too short, even when upgraded. An time extension would be nice. Time extensions on some spells would be nice, though i can't remember what spells need it yet.

Making the spawn stronger speeds up the game significantly.

The spawn does get stronger when both barracks in a right, middle or left lane have been destroyed.

The main thing that really kills the fun in the game for me is the terrain. It's just way to tight, and makes it very hard for large or slow units to micro through it when trying to go heal. Before you say the whole "well just use teleports to go heal" thing, I just want to say that you should NOT have to rely on teleports to get back to base when you want to.

If the map maker want's the player to rely on teleports, then it's his call. It's a variation to AoS, and what "should" or "should not" be done is ultimately the author's decision. And teleports are a great idea in his map, since the map is freaking huge, and I don't like wasting 20 minutes of a game walking back to base. As for whether or not you want to use em, it's the player's call. If you choose not to use it, it simply gives everyone else the advantage.
Also, you don't really have the best micro, dark..

Are you kidding me? My micro is terrible on most units... :P but idk, I just don't feel that you should HAVE to depend on teleports to survive is all.
