WARPED STARCRAFT(BGH)

Protoss - All tech and upgrades researched
Terran - Half the building and training time
Zerg - Twice the attack power than normal

Zerg > all. End of story.

Just making a bunch of arbitrary changes won't cut it. Next time, try spending some time actually designing the game. Speaking as a modder, I've been known to spend a week or two just designing the core gameplay of a mod, and still have them come out horribly.

If terran/protoss don't win early game they are both screwed.

Asymptotically zerg is about 3 times stronger than every other race, just because at 200/200 armies terran and protoss bonuses fade away into nothing.

Just edited the map, just fixed some terrain, added a few geysers and *cough*destructable rocks!*cough*
the this is, zerg can't rebuild units as fast as terran can. Sure zerg could get alot of hatcheries, but terran can keep the pressure on enough to prevent them from making more hatcheries. ALSO, Protoss is now a rusher...

You're practically throwing Devouring ones and Hunter Killers at other players. Most Zerg Heroes have double the attack.

They don't need to rebuild units, if they can just 4pool with their ten-damage lings. Or any kind of rush, for that matter. And what are the poor Protoss supposed to do?

+3 zealots > lings. They practically take only 4 damage a hit, and a decent 2gate wall at main would help fend off 4pool.

Still imba, but not as substantial as you may assume. Needs to do something about zerg raping everyone endgame or with 3hatch hydra though.

Zerg>Protoss>Terran.

10 dmg lings vs 3 shield 4 armor Zealot. Ling still wins. After shield breaks Ling still 6 dmg which is alot considering it's attack speed. Also, since Protoss upgrades practically is maxed, Zerg can upgrade even farther to be even more superior. Terran is just a wannabe zerg at this point.

Actually, Lotus, Protoss have all attack uped, with shields and armor as well. Zerg CAN NOT kill protoss in the beginning, unless protoss sucked badly. Now, terran can take down zerg as well, BUT chances decrease over game time. So far NO ONE has taken the map and tested it. I am the only one here who has tested it so none of you have crap to say.

I downloaded it off of you and played it over Bnet and iCCup a whole bunch of times. The general consensus is that Z > all and protoss has no chance past 10 minutes game time.

After reading everything here and playing a couple games of it...the balance is rather meh. Besides the forces still say:

Zerg: 2x attack
Terran: 1/2 build time
Protoss: 1/2 build cost

It doesn't even display the proper race discrepancies... And the players complained the terrans didn't even get a time bonus, tho I can't say it does or not since I was zerg.

Toss players immediately left and that left us with 4, 2 zerg 2 terran. The other zerg player quickly annihilated one of the 2 terrans, then after a while I took him out, however, they both attacked me at once, and here in lies the problem. I had just a few lurkers and zerglings and wiped out the zerg player but then when the terran player came, I had no problem finishing off 24+ terran units (goliaths and marines) with 4 mutas and 1 guardian. (guardians/lurker raped everything btw)

Lemme break this down for you. Balancing something like this takes a LONG time. Out of my 10+ RTS maps that were never finished and one that is, I spent over 2 solid weeks probably 60+ hours total on each of them just doing the balance. And then after that tweaking it just about every single day several times for a few weeks after (or longer).

I'm not here to rip on you any further, tho you did probably just take an altered sc map and changed a few things and called it your own
(it doesn't take a lot to make these maps other than balance so I could care less that you did, it would have been the same as changing a normal one)

If your a new mapper I wouldn't suggest making things that require a ton of balancing because to me that's the hardest part and requires fairly extensive knowledge of all the units.
