Ok so i am trying to make a region only affect a certain height, or just affect air units.
Also i am having trouble setting up a basic trigger for regions.... yes i realize this could go into the trigger section.
In SC1 the trigger condition Unit-enters location, How do i recreate that for SCII

i appreciate that, but for some reason we are not seeing the same things... i dont have the option of being able to choose a region.
Also, is there any way to make the region affect air by default. Like in SC1 you could manipulate the properties, is there a way to do that in SCII

On that window you have up, just go to the 'value' section instead of 'function'. The regions you have placed in your map will show up there.
As for editing the region itself to determine what it affects.... I don't think so. All you have to do though, is specify what the region will affect in your triggers like what I did with the filter thing. Other than that, I wouldn't really know how to do it any differently.
