This is pretty much all my fiddling around combined into one map.
Features a custom UI that utilizes the mouse only.
Individually upgradeable towers.
Unlimited levels (only 2 boss levels at 10 and 20)
This is purely a concept map and will not be updated.
A full featured tower defense is in the works but do not expect anything soon, my time is limited right now.
It will include multiple tower choices, more informative UI, many types of enemies, cool bosses, and a full storyline.
If anyone wants to help me out on this I could use a person good with the data editor and story writing.
Finally this is
exclusive to staredit.net as all my maps will be. Enjoy and give me comments!

Very, very cool! I'll have to check this out when I get home tonight. This is the reason why Blizzard wants people to sell maps on Battle.net, and I can totally understand why.

XD this is pretty much what i posted about the probe attack if anyone is curious, the laser thing is probes attack or what i like to call lightning attack
Here are some attacks that i recommend you try to put in..
Cannon Attack(Freeze/Ice) - Add temporary freeze buff if possible
Hellion Attack (Fire)
Zerg Drone Attack (Poison) Add Poison Buff If Possible
Marine/Fast Acting Acting (Machine Gun)
Pysonic Storm (Lightning Storm)

I see extra discharge lines when using archon attacks.
I looked at the map. The light tower is archon attack and the twin laser is probe attack. If the first picture is related to the second picture then it suggests that they are light towers.

Just played the map. Built light towers to confirm that they look the same as the other pictures
Also, if you take a closer look at the map you will see that the three different towers are represented by three different buildings. Only the light towers use supply depots.
Twin laser towers are sensor towers.

The attacks are indeed Archon attacks.
I did fiddle around with many others but due to my data editor deficiencies I decided to scrap them for this.
They can be implemented by changing their cost to minerals but the upgrades do not work on them and are horribly out of balance.
The 2 other towers are basically supply depots with their models changed.

Is there a level limit? I'm at level 32 right now. I cheated though and gave myself 10k mins to start with. Also, are upgrades supposed to stop taking away money once you upgrade a tower?

Cheating ruins the challenge. There is no level limit. There was a major bug in the first version I posted. Download the new one.

Nah, I'm on level 37 right now with only six towers with the next upgrade costing 21025 and they're slowly getting worn down even though I'm getting enough to upgrade after about every level or two. I might even need to make more towers, which shows hard it's getting considering I started out with 10k
