Ready for the most Bloody, Face Melting Arena of All Time?



If you Enjoy Capture the Flag WITH AWESOME, BLOODY WEAPONS, then you'll enjoy this.
Play Alpha Marines, where you test the size of your penis Your skill and teamwork.

Gather points by capturing and holding onto the flag for as long as possible
Pick 5 out of 18 uber weapons to Assault or Defend!


WEAPONS
  • Medkit - You know you're smart when you're healing your own ass as you fight your opponent to death
  • Tear Gas - Slow your opponents down with this mana-draining, deployable d-web!
  • Chainsaw - Rip your opponents to shreds with this crazy chainsaw!
  • Grenade - Throw a controllable grenade and blast your enemies
  • Homing Missile - They can hide, but they can't run from the missiles that home.
  • Bazooka - Those marines needs some peppering.
  • Suicide Bomber - When you can't lick 'em, blast 'em to hell!
  • Combat Knife - RAMBO-NINJA STYLE BITCHES!
  • Radar - O shi-, now they can't hide either!
  • Decoy - Trick your opponent into using their billion dollars missile on your inflatable toy!
  • Reconstruction Vehicle - Build Doors, Repair Buildings, Hide in Bunkers.. this lil magic machine is your answer if you are an ultimate turtler.
  • Land Mines - Foes a little to spryly for your liking? They wouldn't be if you can punish them for running around too much.
  • Shockwave - Freeze foes on the spot with an outward electric Shock!
  • Smoke Bomb - Cover yourself if you're under fire!
  • Release Bear - PETA can suck your balls, as this little bear will rape anyone who gets near it!
  • Barricade Builder - Wall yourself in like the emokid you are...
    NEW WEAPONS!!!
  • Grappling Hook - Spread the herd with this awesome hook that can send foes flying into your traps!
  • C4 - Plant an invisible C4, and lay waste to anyone who happens to stay in one place too long.

DEAD RISING MODE ADDED!!
In FFA mode, when the timer is over, "Dead Rising" mode will be activated.
This causes all Eliminated Players to spawn Zombie Marines.
:P it is epic.

Bump!

Today's the day of my last final!
My first plan would be to implement the long wanted FFA Mode into this map...

Now we can really test the size of our penises our survival skills in the face of crazy weapons.

Is this going to be updated with the newest version?

Also, suggest the following:
-Grenade explosion size should be reduced (the visual effect of dead units, not the kill radius).
-Shockwave radius made more apparent.
-Chainsaw lag... needs fixing.
-Dropping a unit with insufficient mana should cause it to load back again.
-Nerf Grappling hook/C4 combo
-NERF BEAR IN ITS CRITTER STATE
-Make HQ a building with 400 HP and 250 armor to make it less vulnerable to combat knife
-Homing missile should not take only 1 hit to kill.
-Make underused weapons more attractive (basically anything other than combat knife/chainsaw/grenade/shockwave/C4/bear/radar/mines).
-Refineries should not have walkable tiles on the row directly on top of it (marines can hide there or put C4/mine traps on those four tiles).
-Force shared vision when in observer mode.

From top to bottom

- Why?
- It's Interceptor spray.. so it's random
- It is purposely lagged to balance it
- It does cause it to load back.. most of the time.. I'll add a final trigger patch to fool-proof this

- A lot of other spells can distract homing missile. Moreover, I've added a lag for it too
- I'm thinking of changing smoke bomb a bit.... Maybe change barricade builder too i dunno... A lot of other weapons are good for other things.. like bazooka > bear .. and decoy > stupid people :P

- You get full vision of map when you're dead.. but full vision is for mines and such right? .. I dun't know.. people may trick others and such.. but sure.

To address a couple of your comments.

-C4 + Grappling Hook, if it needs any balance, is just to make it so using the Grappling Hook forces you to remain standing still until you're done using it. That way, you have as much time to move off the C4 as they do. C4 itself is perfectly fine.

-Bears are fine, there is nothing wrong with critter bears, you can easily micro them to death without using stim. While using stim, it's basically impossible to lose against them 1v1. Furthermore, plenty of skills basically insta-kill them, and you can use Smoke Bomb to make them completely harmless. On top of everything else, they're rather expensive.

-I almost never die to Homing Missile. I don't see the issue. They are costly and insta-die against anyone standing still or attack-moving. Lots of skills will stop them too, such as Grenade or other Homing Missiles. I've been taking Medkit specifically for this purpose, I can heal with it at refineries but also, if a Homing Missile is about to kill me and I don't have time to stop it, I pop out my Medkit and it takes the hit for me.

-As far as making underused skills more attractive, I think it'd be cool if the Suicide Bomber blast would also destroy buildings (except for the crashed ship). Lose a life, take out some buildings. Would be especially useful for Team HTF.

-Refineries being walkable directly above is the entire point, if you don't want to risk it then don't stand directly above them, or don't use them at all. They are specifically designed to be dangerous areas, it's risk vs reward.

-Why would you force shared vision in observer mode? The only reason someone is going to turn it off is if you're telling someone where their mines/C4 are hidden, or they're worried that you're going to. I turn off vision with anyone who dies, personally. You can see the entire map, you will know there was C4 there when I detonate it in your friend's face who you weren't able to warn about it because I turned vision off with you.

To add my own note, can't wait for the removal of or ability to disable sudden death, it's a hardcore game ruiner :><:

I see what you meant now. You mean Homing Missile shouldn't die in one hit. It sounded like you meant Homing Missile shouldn't kill in one hit. In that case, I don't know, maybe 2 hits? It is pretty easy to distract, I think even decoys distract it. I think the idea is to kill people that have ordered their Marine to do something else though, or who are too close to stop it. Grenade is better at killing AFKs.

As for being able to see mines and C4, I don't think you should automatically have that right. Ask them for vision if you want to see their hidden items, since they become virtually worthless if they aren't hidden. The last person I want to be able to see my C4 and mine locations is the guy I just eliminated from the game.

Okay.. first thing I'll do is either remove or make sudden death mode better
I actually have an idea that would replace sudden death :sly: ..
Second.. I'll look into extra armor for building ...

Don't tell those TS newbs but this is way better ^^

And... I never tried suiciding into a building :blush: I just assumed it wouldn't work for some reason. That makes me sad because yesterday some guy floated a ton of metal doors right over me, stacked, and I was like "If only my suicide would take them out, I'd do it right now for epic lulz." Now I need to go try it out.

Yay for Sudden Death revamp :D If someone picks the highest number of points in FFA Deathmatch, chances are good they don't want to play a 20 minute game =P

Okay... three choices for Sudden Death Revamp + a Variation

1. Revenge Mode - All eliminated players will get a DT. Dts will not be affected by anything, and will not affect other spells (such as mines/homing missile)
2. Dead Rising Mode - All eliminated players will get a ZOMBAI zealot, with the same stats (EDIT: or maybe lower) as combat knife. Unfortunately, w/o the speed ups. They WILL be affected by other spells. However, they will respawn quickly, and at the same location as they've last died.
3. remove sudden death + timer altogether

Variation:
4. Immediately give eliminated players their DT/Zombai... this'd end games a lot quicker, but may be unfair for people who still have lives.
If no input, i'm going to try #2

#2 does sound like the way to go. I was going with #3 before reading through the options, but #2 would give you an incentive to not just hide the whole game, while still making it possible to defend yourself from this "sudden undeath" and still giving players with more lives more of an advantage, which was one of the biggest issues with the previous sudden death.

At the same time, it gives players who've been eliminated a reason to stay in the game, which results in more people being present at the game's conclusion and thus making it easier to keep groups of players together from game to game.

And who doesn't like zombies? ^^
