Devourer -- jjf28
jjf28 shouted: hrmm... clicking latest forum posts took me approximately here: http://www.staredit.net/356850/ rather than to zycorax's
this happens because you get linked in height correctly, but then images (avatars, bbcpde, signatues) finish loading and push the content further down while filling up their container.
[2015-2-14. : 3:03 am]
zsnakezz -- can't imagine it being fool proof
[2015-2-14. : 3:03 am]
zsnakezz -- sounds like it would require stressing the system though
[2015-2-14. : 3:03 am]
zsnakezz -- that is a very interesting concept ive never thought of
[2015-2-14. : 2:49 am]
twilight_marine -- I made missiles dodgeable by fly¬ follow but doing same thing crashed SC
[2015-2-14. : 2:49 am]
trgk -- Every condition/action accepts variables & Trigger execution order can be manipulated.
[2015-2-14. : 2:49 am]
twilight_marine -- do you guys know how to make gauss weapon dodgeable?
[2015-2-14. : 2:48 am]
jjf28 -- well the method behind it expands options I suppose, static->dynamic
[2015-2-14. : 2:46 am]
jjf28 -- doesn't expand options, just makes very complex systems easier to write
[2015-2-14. : 2:45 am]
trgk -- nonEUD : create enemy marine beside the unit. One shot killed -> done.
[2015-2-14. : 2:43 am]
twilight_marine -- so eudplib > eudtrig 1.3 in terms of available options?
[2015-2-14. : 2:41 am]
trgk -- This is the hardest and the most direct way I know of. :wob:
[2015-2-14. : 2:40 am]
twilight_marine -- hello foreign language
[2015-2-14. : 2:40 am]
twilight_marine -- this makes me regret I didnt take comp major
[2015-2-14. : 2:40 am]
trgk -- eudplib : pip install eudplib
[2015-2-14. : 2:40 am]
trgk -- Python : http://python.org/
[2015-2-14. : 2:40 am]
trgk -- To compile src.py, you need python and eudplib.
[2015-2-14. : 2:39 am]
trgk -- Trigger injector :) No code execution used.
[2015-2-14. : 2:38 am]
trgk -- Anything inside TRIG is unrelated to game logic. They are just a injection vector. :
[2015-2-14. : 2:38 am]
jjf28 -- orite, you were writing them all over the place :wob:
[2015-2-14. : 2:37 am]
trgk -- jjf28
jjf28 shouted: you can see them with chkdraft :wob:
Triggers are not even inside TRIG section. :wob:
[2015-2-14. : 2:37 am]
jjf28 -- not that you'd want to see generated triggers like that :P
[2015-2-14. : 2:37 am]
trgk -- Actually the map has plugin coded with EUD inside.
[2015-2-14. : 2:37 am]
jjf28 -- you can see them with chkdraft :wob:
[2015-2-14. : 2:37 am]
trgk -- out.scx has triggers, yes. But you can't see them with map editors.
[2015-2-14. : 2:37 am]
twilight_marine -- whaaaa thats lot of codes haha
[2015-2-14. : 2:36 am]
trgk -- Every trigger is instructed in src.py
[2015-2-14. : 2:35 am]
twilight_marine -- @trgk I dont see any triggers on basemap is it on out.scx?
[2015-2-14. : 2:33 am]
trgk -- This detects stasis field status for every units and hallunicates ones with it.
[2015-2-14. : 2:32 am]
trgk -- Example code : https://db.tt/6V3MjU8L : Code used for halucination field.
[2015-2-14. : 2:30 am]
jjf28 -- hrmm... clicking latest forum posts took me approximately here: http://www.staredit.net/356850/ rather than to zycorax's
[2015-2-14. : 2:29 am]
trgk -- you can do it using eudplib, but it is quite hard.
[2015-2-14. : 2:26 am]
Roy -- If you're talking about modifying how the tech works, you're probably best off making a mod.
[2015-2-14. : 2:25 am]
Roy -- It isn't limited, but you need a way to determine the index ID of the unit you want to detect, and you need a way to uniquely identify the unit's location.
[2015-2-14. : 2:23 am]
twilight_marine -- I know there is plague status detection in eudGen2, but I think thats limited to units preplaced in map?
[2015-2-14. : 2:23 am]
Roy -- It's called "Kill Them All" in this map pack: http://www.staredit.net/sc1db/file/2895/
[2015-2-14. : 2:22 am]
Roy -- You can detect the plague status and then kill the unit, assuming you have some way of identifying the unit you want to kill. Azrael made a map for a 1-hour mapping contest where each player controlled a Defiler that could move with Dark Swarm or attack with Plague.
[2015-2-14. : 2:20 am]
twilight_marine -- possible but no one knows? hmm I guess need artmoney to find memory offset
[2015-2-14. : 2:02 am]
trgk -- Possible. yes
[2015-2-14. : 2:01 am]
jjf28 -- perhaps trgk has a self-editing EUDA scheme for scanning all units? :P
[2015-2-14. : 2:00 am]
jjf28 -- assuming you want it to behave exactly like plague except also kill them when at 1hp
[2015-2-14. : 2:00 am]
jjf28 -- could probably do it, but I doubt there's a simple way
[2015-2-14. : 1:45 am]
twilight_marine -- hello, is it possible to make plague kill units with eud?
[2015-2-13. : 10:09 pm]
Moose -- Absolutely not, not with how time works
[2015-2-13. : 10:05 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- But I mean, can you really blame her?
[2015-2-13. : 10:04 pm]
Moose -- It all makes sense now!
[2015-2-13. : 10:04 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- yes
[2015-2-13. : 10:04 pm]
Moose -- Is that why Dem0n's mother is so disappointed?
[2015-2-13. : 10:02 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Wait! But doing things in the future will fuck up the past!
[2015-2-13. : 9:48 pm]
Moose -- I wish I could travel into the future to see that doing things in the past changes the future.
[2015-2-13. : 9:42 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- no, but doing things in the past changes the future
[2015-2-13. : 9:33 pm]
Moose -- Does the time travel cause memory loss?
[2015-2-13. : 9:21 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- I got one once and they were really, really good .. but I have no idea what brand or store I got them at.
[2015-2-13. : 9:06 pm]
NudeRaider -- FaRTy1billion
FaRTy1billion shouted: These cinnamon french toast sticks taste like cardboard
it even sounds like it
[2015-2-13. : 8:32 pm]
jjf28 -- rekt
[2015-2-13. : 8:31 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- These cinnamon french toast sticks taste like cardboard
[2015-2-13. : 8:31 pm]
jjf28 -- :farty::ex::farty:
[2015-2-13. : 8:31 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- You see, for I am future
[2015-2-13. : 8:30 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- Roy
Roy shouted: I have it on good authority that Farty puts very little thought into the future.
that's not entirely true
[2015-2-13. : 8:30 pm]
O)FaRTy1billion[MM] -- jjf28
jjf28 shouted: farty prolly wields it best
but nobody would know that, because they always put :farty: to the right
[2015-2-13. : 7:50 pm]
Moose -- It's complicated, you have to ask FaRTy how it works
[2015-2-13. : 7:47 pm]
jjf28 -- Mini Moose 2707
Mini Moose 2707 shouted: He just time travels to check it out instead
so the past is causally dependent on the future, good to know :)
[2015-2-13. : 7:45 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- SEN: Figuring shit out since it was born.
[2015-2-13. : 7:38 pm]
Moose -- He just time travels to check it out instead
[2015-2-13. : 7:37 pm]
Roy -- I have it on good authority that Farty puts very little thought into the future.
[2015-2-13. : 7:34 pm]
Moose -- That's because FaRTy is the future. :farty: :lock:
[2015-2-13. : 7:15 pm]
BloodyZombie117 -- That's because Farty thinks of the future when he gets things done.
[2015-2-13. : 7:14 pm]
jjf28 -- farty prolly wields it best
[2015-2-13. : 7:14 pm]
jjf28 -- :moose::ex:
