Sure, you get protected upgrade buildings nobody could kill, but if someone is crushing your upgrade buildings, you're probably losing anyway.[2015-10-25. : 3:12 pm] Moose -- Actually, I just ran the numbers. For just the gold and iron buildings, total cost (using 1 pylon) would be 19700. 18700 minus the EBay you needed to make the GL, 16700 minus the SciF you were going to build anyway. So yeah, GL is actually more expensive than just building all the buildings and uses less gas.
