File Description
Based on Desert Strike Night Final by Queen-Gambit and NudeRaider, Desert Strike Night Fixed was designed to have a much smaller file size (175k down from 534k) and ability to select double mineral rate so no 'Half' versions of the map would be needed.
  • Fixes 20 bugs and exploits from the original.
  • Many new features, including vastly improved AI for detectors, heroes and lurkers, accidental boom prevention, auto-share upgrades between team, gas countdown timer and more
  • Large balance overhauls: Dragoons and Void Ray are now worth building, Zerg air isn't completely overpowered and Terran prices are now in line with the other two races

Terran's special is so useless. Makes me wanna make my own desert strike.

Lanthanide wrote on Feb 18 2012, 10:04 pm:
I didn't fix it properly. It will be fixed properly in 2.52.

Please use the official topic for bug reports, as I don't regularly check these comments here. Desert Strike Night - Fixed

Hi, My name is taewoo from korea.
I found a bug. The Silo Brutalisk were infected by Infestor and can't kill any unit even Boom Ammo.
That is not bug? The Silo Brutalisk should not be infect?
I don't speak English well so, I don't know the sentence is correct...

Thanks. Fixed.

you spelled Detectors wrong.

and reaper is useless.
reaper is strong to marine, zealot and zergling, but a few vikings, dragoons or hydras make reaper useless.
i think ghost is not matched with reaper

i love this game
but i have some requst.

immortal is too strong. it's like 2.15 version. you should weaken immortal.

Heinermann - Yes, it's a popular map.
TriNitY - Yes, I'm a perfectionist and unfortuantely couldn't get everything right on my first try
Devourer - Actually this is vastly improved over Desert Strike Night - Final. I've put in easily over 200 hours in this, it is hardly a "rip off".

Zhuinden wrote on Jun 20 2010, 11:10 am:
Rated 5 for best desert strike night version =) Everyone who gives a bad rating has obviously not even ever played this version at all, nor any others.

im glad he fixed the bugs at least.... the other versions are glitchy as fcuk.

Devourer wrote on Jun 10 2010, 8:26 pm:
Rated 1 for worst rip off of a good map.

TriNitY_ wrote on Jun 5 2010, 11:32 pm:
Rated 1 for most game versions EVAR.

Zoan -- idk
[05:43 pm]
Zoan -- At least you can set the hp and build time of terran buildings so that repair never actually conteracts their hp loss while on fire..
[05:42 pm]
Zoan -- also I think you can set the hp and build time of a building so that it literally will never complete it's build, iirc.
[05:41 pm]
Zoan -- maybe if they're allied to all other players, so they don't try to do something like attack with their scv I guess.
[05:40 pm]
Zoan -- so like disable all buildings but two. I mean what else is the computer player gonna do, won't they necessarily just buiild whatever they can?
[05:38 pm]
Zoan -- maybe you could have two types of buildings, one that costs gas and one that costs minerals, and then alternate the computer player having gas and minerals.
[05:37 pm]
Zoan -- ez
[05:36 pm]
Zoan -- I guess terran buildings would be easy. Just disable all buildings except one and then have a computer player with an scv or something in a corner of the map and run an ai script for that player. You would probably want to not use that player for anything else though.
[12:33 pm]
Suicidal Insanity -- feasible is a great wor for stuff like that xD
[06:30 am]
Ultraviolet --
