You would be hailed as a mighty dldb lord if you use good tags (check tag faq) and upload, at the least, a thumbnail. Lock file temporarily to give yourself time to write. Open file to release.

Useful to keep the file ID intact and the link more shareable.
Very useful to fix file if new file isn't all too different from original.
