First question is... How do I set it so scv's will repair near by building or metallic stuff near by? Also will this script allow them to repair units that do not belong to them, but are allied to them

Second question is... OK, in the map I am currently making has a location that follows a unit, and men spawn from this unit, How do I set it so that they defend the area in which they spawn, and defend the unit that they spawn from? I don't just want to issue order to attack that location, I want them to spread out a little bit, go into diff directions but stay near that area.. I was thinking I may have to customize this A.I using micro grids..

Also these questions are from same map, and same cpu player.. so I hope they won't contradict each other.

thanks guys!

I think the script Value This Area Higher should get the guys to defend it, but don't quote me on that. As for auto-repair SCVs, I'm pretty sure you can't do that.

EDIT: Wait, if it's a CPU, wouldn't he automatically repair anyway?

I do stuff and thingies... Try widening and reducing the number of small nooks and crannies to correct the problem.

Computer units will never repair/heal allied units.
A computer with a running campaign script should repair his units, or at least his normal buildings. But some other problems may arise with that script.

I meant if he was running a script, sorry, should have said that. Although if you had a computer running the Terran AI and the only Terran units he has are heroes, he won't do anything, will he? (Of course, if he has SCVs then he has to have some non-heroes... Do the Protoss and Zerg AIs use repair?)

If you've ever played the game Storm the Fort, the computers are running the Terran - Shareware AI in that map, and they repair their own units automatically, but I don't think they ever repair allies, no matter what you do.

UndeadStar -- I wonder if that's what happened to me. A returned product (screen) was "officially lost" for a while before being found and refunded. Maybe it would have remained "lost" if I didn't communicate?
