I think I have a basic idea of how to do this, but am kinda unsure of how to write it out. How do I give a unit custom sounds? So, when it moves/attacks, it plays wavs, and not its normal sound?
None.
Sleeping wolves wake hungry.
Same principle as footstep triggers, only with random switches.
I'm too tired to explain, though.
Perhaps someone else could explain my theory while i go to bed? =P
I thought of that, but then found a problem. Then I found that problem doesn't exist
Alright what about attacks?
None.

Kay, screw sleep.
Well, it only really works if you're using virtual hp or ohks, but you could have a sound play when a player kills a unit.
Yeah, I know, but i rather have it so it plays a sound while attacking. Possible?
None.

Without EUDs?
No.
I doubt there's a known EUD that can do that anyway.
There isn't a way to detect if a unit loses health? I mean, it could work for close-range units then, couldn't it?
None.
HaZ, I would give up on it, the question has been asked before, it requires use of EUDs, and then extensive triggering after that, and then some, it's really not worth the effort.

Fine then, I'll give up, if you promise not to call me "HuZ" anymore.

Just use VHP, you can make a very easy system with a lurker/unit what i do for a very easy system is this: You have a location at the player you need VHP and when that unit dies create a new one of the same unit and subtract one mineral/death counter. So all you do is have 50 minerals= 50 health! so once you reach 0 he is actually dead... Then you have it so he has really low health so he dies in 1 hit so every time this happens it plays a certain kind of .wav!
another way you can do it.. which won't be as good is just put a location that is as big as the range as the units attack and time it as much as it takes that unit to attack and just play random wavs when an enemy steps in that location!
None.
Someone already suggested that. Also, he said he wanted the sound to play WHILE the unit is firing.
Yeah, I know, but i rather have it so it plays a sound while attacking.
