Hi. Excuse me for another stupid topic about my bad mapmaking hability.

The problem:

I make a kind of "floor traps" with vulture mines, that xplodes in certain time, killing players who pass in the moment of explosion. I can make the mines appear, explode, and kill units. But the animation is really slow (the mine can be seen!) And when a unit is in the same same place as the mine, the mine moves down or side..

I already have hypertrigger in my map. Don't know how to acelerate the animation..

And I read in this forum to use scarab. I copy the trigger of the mine, and nothing works fine. The scarab is mising, the explosion.. units from players dont die.. >_<

The animation cannot be accelerated, the spider mine has to have time to react the unit being nearby before it will attack, and there's no way to fix it being created in the wrong spot when the player is in the way, since the player is not offsetting the spider mine. Hyper Triggers only increase trigger speed, not the actual speed of the game.

Using a scarab would require a completely different trigger setup, since they cannot be created via triggers, and it wouldn't work perfectly.

Why don't you just use triggers to create a unit, kill the unit, then kill any units below it?

Yes, that whas my idea. I kill the mine and the unit below at the same tine using "kill all units for all players".

I have to work with scarab like with the Zerg Eggs? Creating them manually and then moving to other sites? Is a "sprite" or "doodas"

In english, (im spanish) both words are unknow for me >_<

Sprite is the term for an image used inside a game.
Doodad is the little bits of scenery in a map, trees etc.

Are you creating and killing the unit all in the same trigger? Also, if you use air units instead, they won't be offset by the players unit.

Scarabs are units that you cannot usually place in the normal editor, and units like that cannot be created through triggers, so it's not a sprite or doodad, since you can still affect it with triggers, but it just can't be created.

I'm creating and killing unit in the same trigger.

Ok, i will not use scarabs.. but the animation of his death is cool.

TheHappy115 -- Yea, thats the issue. Thanks. It would also explain why my deleted map couldn't get updated. Updated version reduced collision on units (only thing added) since was dodging game (players collide with each other)
