Ever since I rebooted my computer, everything hasnt been working. Now I found out limewire won't even work. At first it said I should install java and I did. Still no progress in it. It stays at Connecting. What is the problem? I doubt its the firewall because I turned it off too.
None.
I have no idea of ports. I was playing around with it and it still didnt change anything. You mind explaining?
None.
I think the ports of limewire are same as mp3 rocket I could be wrong. If I am correct they are 6346.

Ahhh, stupid anwser but, in some cases the connection takes 5 to 10 minutes to be connected. That was the problem with me for the longest time. Then I don't know what happened because the connection for me now is like two seconds. Either I updated Limewire or my system. If the case is time, just open it and leave it open for awhile then check on it.

Well, since you're using Limewire, are you sure you don't have a virus?
None.
No, I rebooted my computer and it didnt work afterwards. I'm using limewire pro, no virus.
None.
NOD32, Ad-aware, AVG, Search and Destroy Bot. All Updated and sweeped like a million times. Although there was a folder that couldnt be open. But even though, for some reason my old drive doesnt say it affects my computer
None.
Did you try reinstalling? That might be able to help you out a bit.

Oh noes can't steal my songs!!
Make sure your computer doesn't have any preinstalled junkware on it. I remember when I had MacAfee (or whatever) it completely blocked my internet, and it was a major pain to get rid of, not worth the money saved by buying that sort of thing (preinstalled software that blocks the internet and doesn't have an option to be uninstalled, genius!).
What's your ISP? Comcast blocks
Bit Torrent, but I'm not sure exactly
what else they might block.
None.
The internet is definately not the problem because I didn't have a problem with it before I rebooted.

Trying using
FrostWire... It is like LimeWire Pro but free, same interface and all...

.I just have not seen any of these bad things that I heard about yet >.>.
Anyways to Echo try port fowarding through your router if you have one.

That really helped me.. That is what someone said above and I clearly stated it does not work for me.
