I was keeping Clan Oo alive for as long as possible...

Blizzard has finalized my decision unfortunately...

As you guys should already know, Blizzard is Remastering Starcraft and with that, they are redoing the login sequence ect.
Also in this time, they have been patching Diablo 2 left and right.

I believe my account Tank48^^ was caught in the crossfire, when logging into my Diablo 2 chat bot with it.
It and a few others on D2 + War3 have been permanently closed (8).

This is the final straw for me, I don't even play the games anymore I just kept the bots up to keep the channel alive.

It seems that their new 'Anti-Bot' system has affected not only me, but hundreds of other players as well..

You can see the spam threads of peoples accounts being closed via:
https://us.battle.net/forums/en/bnet/12790219/

I will keep my VPS up and running until they shut it down. The channel should survive until near the end of this month...
It has been a great journey, and am a bit sad it has finally came to an end. =

Feel free to add me via BNET account id: Tyler#1988

Rip Tank48^^ 6/8/2017 :-(
RIP Clan Oo 2017 :-(

You know they have released a bot API that will fill the shoes, right? I am not sure what is going on with the d2 stuff, but they are definitely making BW channel bots a thing unless they are going back on work they themselves did.

Yeah I am fully aware of the API that they released.
It's for only One bot, not multiple.
The final straw was my main account being banned.
Regardless of what they are planning, I decided to end Clan Oo.
If someone wants to take it over be my guest.

GREAT NEWS!

It looks like my account is no longer closed (8)...
Not sure how that happened, just tried logging into it.
But I do think I still will continue to close my VPS, due to non activity.
No need to keep paying for a server, that isn't being used.

With that being said, I will load up bots when my computer is online.

~ Greetings

I suppose this is fairly late, but I'll offer anyways.

You may not remember me and I was never in Oo, but I was friends with quite a few members, including Snipe. As a result, I hung out Oo quite a few times back in the day. I'd be interested in helping to keep Clan Oo opened, as I too keep bots loaded whenever my computer is online, which is all the time. When Blizzard this mess with clans fixed, I'd be happy to load up a grunt in the channel.

No point. 99% of the people are gone and aren't coming back. There's no need to stay in separate channels when so few people play. Literally like three people would be in that channel, and they can just go to another more populated channel instead.

This makes me sad. I do agree woth the decision though. Clan Oo was my most active guild and most maps that ive created. I made a lot of friends whole in this guild and still miss the times I had with them. Thanks for keeling it up as long as you did Demon.

Demon never kept the clan channel online.
And side note they closed my accounts again. I still have control over ~!oo!~ though, this account was ripped from solar, but the guy that did it handed it over to me. Attempting to keep the name still alive until Blizzard decides to (8) it also.
