I recently acquired a new monitor (it's pretty nice, 1680x1050) but when I play StarCraft, it stretches to the full width. Anyone know of a way to fix this? :/ My graphics card is an ATI radeon 9200. I've got the Catalyst control center.

Use your monitors buttons to make it a normal screen size.

u'll just get used to the stretch.

Try changing the refresh rate and resolution.
If that doesn't work, try changing resolution within Starcraft, or, use an Auto-Adjust function (if your monitor has it).

There should be an AUTO-ADJUST button on most new monitors.

I'm pretty sure I already replied to this topic before. Where did all of the posts go?

God dam you viet, you don't get to just say "case closed!" whenever you reply to a post in a thread.

In my catalyst control center, you go in advanced >> Panel Proporties - and select preserve aspect ratio

This option doesn't seem to exist.

That option is only on laptop computers, as far as I know. Possibly also if you use the DVI or HDMI connection, but I'm unsure on that, as I've never had a monitor with either.

UndeadStar -- I wonder if that's what happened to me. A returned product (screen) was "officially lost" for a while before being found and refunded. Maybe it would have remained "lost" if I didn't communicate?
