Is there any way to make Zerg AI use Nydus canals(either placed on the map, or make them build them)?
and is there any way to keep drones at home, or exclude certain unit from "Run AI script: Send all units on Random/Strategic suicide missions"?
None.
According to our
AI overlord nydus canals are never used, but have the computer move units towards a nydus canal, and use two locations and the move unit trigger to simulate their effect (you can even add the sound through play wav).
You could try giving all the drones to p11, then run the suicide mission ai script, then give all the drones back (untested).

Give that Heinermann guy a medal! ^_^
EDIT:
And as for excluding the units from suicide missions; can it be localized to a location even?

There's no real easy way to do that. An overkill workaround could be to have triggers that center a one-pixel location on every possible unit except drones, running the AI Script on each one.

There are two AI script actions,
- Run AI Script
- Run AI Script at location
None.
Okay, well, I double checked and "Send all units on _ suicide missions" isn't available in Run at Location...
None.
Indeed, that script is a global one that does not run at a location. I haven't tested this, but you can try running the AI while the units you want running the script are the only ones that the only ones the player owns.
Give all the units owned by the computer player to some irrelevant player, like Player 9.
Give BACK the units that should be running the AI to the computer player.
Run the script.
Give all the units owned by player 9 back to the computer player.
For your problem specifically mentioned in the OP, you would pass all Drones to Player 9, run the AI, then give all the Drones back.
Well, thanks; I'm using Staredit, but I'll consider using Scmdraft 2 to get to player 9 (I am using all 8 forces in the map in question).
Thanks!
