So I'm performing a monotonous task on some lame computational software that requires me to click a certain spot and type the same thing over and over again. As such I've recently been looking for a decent free keyboard/mouse recorder macro, but most of the ones I've found. I was wondering if anyone here has used them, and which ones are decent.
None.

but most of the ones I've found.
I think you're missing a qualifier here.
I've used
AC Tool in the past. It lets you do mouseclicks at variable x/y coordinates and output keystrokes.
Its macros work a lot like simple programming languages and thus can handle functions and calculations to make it more flexible.
It also has a function to read the color of a pixel, so you could make it scan for a specific icon on your desktop and let it click it. That's pretty tedious though.
Haven't used any other scripting programs so I can't compare weaknesses/strengths. Just try it out.
Are you sure that AC Tool works as a general macro and not just as a macro for a single MMO?
None.

Yup.
I should have mentioned that I have used it for general purpose browser clicking and not for Asheron's Call which it has been designed for originally.
Thanks for the response, I tried it out. AC Tool seems pretty easy to use, but I think I found another one I prefer.
Auto Clicker TyperThey are very similar though, so I think only prefer it because I started using it first.
None.
It's not a recorder (so far as I know, anyways) - scripts have to be made manually - but I'm a fan of Autoit for any kind of computer automization.
Re-reading your post, it might actually be overkill.
But I still think everyone should know about it.
None.
