EDIT: Someone else has made a better version of this instead, so please see the thread there.

Okay. Let me start off by saying, yes, I know there is an existing 1.16.1 GPTP out there, but it's not complete; many of the addresses are outdated or incorrect. Not to mention, the 1.16.1 version was never publicly released on anywhere but Modcrafters, but considering that Modcrafters didn't receive a lot of attention in the first place, not many people even know that a 1.16.1-compatible GPTP exists.

But anyway, the actual reason I'm re-releasing this here is because the current v1.16.1 GPTP has a few problems; mainly, it's a pain in the ass to actually get functional. This is because the update on the Modcrafters Wiki has problems due to the wiki software adding HTML formatting tags to the code, so when you try to copy-paste the updated code into Visual Studio, it gets littered with HTML junk and fails miserably.

GPTP v2.1 also introduced a considerable amount of bugs, the most noticeable of which was that having Debug mode on would always cause the game to crash. So instead of re-releasing v2.1 with all its bugs in, I've downgraded it to v2.0.

Now, besides the updating to v1.16.1 and fixing some odd bugs with the downgrade to GPTP v2.0, I've also gone ahead and added some basic help descriptions into the Visual Studio version:

There's descriptions for most of the variables, excluding the unknown ones. This should help less experienced modders and those new to plugins to understand what it is they're actually doing.

There's a complete (I think?) list of changes here, if you're interested:
List of Changes

So, well...yeah. There's not much else to say. As with the original GPTP, everything in this is entirely open source, so go ahead and modify it as you see fit.
Todo List

And of course, the download links:
Visual Studio Version: I'm uploading it atm. :PHere!
GUI Version: Here!

Much, much thanks goes to A_of-s_t, the original creator of the GPTP, as well as Quantam for creating the plugin format that the GPTP uses.

Pretty disappointed I'm not mentioned anywhere as a thank you for gathering all this code in the first place.

In fairness, you didn't put your name in the GPTP in the first place, so I wouldn't know to credit you.
Updated the OP though, thanks!

Your GUI version crashes on me when I try to use it; admittedly, I am using Linux and WINE, however.

That's probably it. I've just tested it on Win7 64-bit and XP 32-bit and both work fine.

Let me know if you have any other problems/glitches with the VS version though.

Just thought I'd like to update;

Although I'm 7 months late, I looked around the BWAI forums and found this, which, while I haven't had the time to take too close of a look, appears to be considerably more complete and updated than my version.

So this is now obsolete.
