need help on few triggers

ya i was wondering what the trigger system would be for these actions. I did see the zerg egg post but this is a lil diffrent :)

ok just wanna make zerg egg for p8cpu to stay in one place with out dieing or spawning.

Next is How do you get a trail behind a Flying Unit such as a drop ship. DO i need hyper triggers with it?

if you want an egg that doesn't hatch, just pre-place it. (make sure you're using an editor other than staredit)
If you mean a trail by continuous explosions, yeah you need hyper triggers.

C:
Player brings dropship to anywhere

A:
preserve
center location on dropship

------

C:
Always

A:
Create 1 observer (or exploding unit) at location
Kill observer
preserve


that's basically it, if you have hyper triggers it'll continuously make a blue explosion where the dropship is. Note that this will not work for multiple dropships owned by the same player, because SC will center the location on only one of them.
If you don't have hyper triggers, then the explosions will lag behind and will not look like a trail.

ok someone09 i tried it but it won't let me move my screen after making the unit this is how i got the triggers could ya tell me how i got this wrong?

first trigger:

Conditions:
p1 brings at least 1 unit to any where.

Actions
Preserver Trigger
Center Veiw for current player at location

sencond Trigger.

Conditions:
Always

Actions:
Create 1 protoss observer at any where for player 1
kill all protoss observers for player 1
preserve trigger.

now when i made the second trigger it spawns and kills it self in the middle of the map any help of what i did wrong?

No need for hypers, you can use the create/kill actions multiple times with waits in between, but the trail wouldn't be as smooth.
So you could say hypers are recommended. Below i edited someones triggers to make them work without hypers.

C:
Always

A:

wait(200ms) (or any other value)
Create 1 observer (or exploding unit) at location
Kill observer
wait(200ms) (or any other value)

*1)repeat create/kill/wait 9 times total. This will result in 1800ms total trigger length and after 2000ms all triggers are checked again, which will loop this trigger again.

Well, look at the trigger, you have a center view combined with preserve. As a result, as soon as you moved the screen the trigger will recenter it. Just dont preserve it and it will center only once. If the unit may die and respawn then add the center view to the revive trigger.

You create the obs at anywhere. Center of anywhere is obviously the center of the map.
Make a location follow the dropship (always -> move location 'ship P1' to Dropship of Current Player at anywhere) and create the obs at 'ship P1'.

If there are going to be other flying units nearby the dropship, create the observer at another location, move it to the location following the observer, and then kill it, to make sure you don't get unit implacable.

And don't use Always as a condition to move the location, because if the dropship isn't there, it will center the location to the center of whatever location you are saying the dropship is in(usually Anywhere, or the middle of the map) Instead, use if a player brings the unit to Anywhere.

The egg won't get destroyed by the trail unless you specify it in the explosion trail trigger.

The "center location" action is not the same as the "center view" action. You make a location, then in that first trigger I showed you, center it (only if the unit exists". Constantly moving the location onto the dropship allows you to make the explosions on the dropship.
Woops, the second trigger should also have the same conditions as the first trigger, or it'll make the explosions even if the unit is dead.
