Just by the email address, I have suspicions of foul play. Anyone have any news if this is legit? Many of this seems like it could easily just be retrieved through Battle.net.

And I'd really like to see their definition of this if it's true...

This is a malicious tactic from sc2mapster to prevent SEN from getting advertisement.
Obvious conspiracy theory is obvious.

Do you have the dialogue noted down somewhere? It'd obviously help. ;o

Problem is... it's not just a fake email. I thought it might be because of all the WoW crap I get, but this is the real deal.

The only lines I can think of would be used against me are...

"I swear, I'll beat the crap out of you!"
"And then eat the crap!"
"And puke the crap all over you!"

But how the heck's that pornographic? :|

* Is crude and offensive in nature

Red Reaver.

* Is an inappropriate reference to human anatomy or bodily functions

Probably the part where Red Reaver said something about crapping and eating it...

* Is pornographic in nature

The sex scene at the end of probert the probe 1.
The woman asking for sex and the dude killing her and asking for sex afterwards.

Only my guess really...
(Wow, some people must be really overly sensitive, none of this is actually offensive in any way.)

Artanis, I edited by post above, seriously, how can you be sure that this is not fake?

Because the map isn't published anymore.

Try hosting the map and see if it's banned or something.

Just forget about it and just post it up here so we can download it/view it ourselves using the map editor testing thingie. Because you would have to censor a lot of crap to get it back up...
EDIT: Or we can just watch it on Starcraft 1 I guess.

There's only 1 scene, and I'm just gonna get rid of it. Look at the showcase thread. It has links to download and Youtube links.

It's not on the list. It's 100% gone.

Perhaps the map should be re-released as a censored version, much like the Muhammed episodes of South Park were, with Kyle's entire speech at the end being bleeped out. :P

Re: CD-KEY not working‏

Greetings,

If you are receiving an error message when attempting to input your Authentication Key, please follow the steps below.

The first possible cause for an error is a mistyped key. Please recheck each character entered in step two to make sure the authentication key is entered correctly.

The second possible cause for the invalid authentication key error is that the key has already been used to create a Starcraft II account. Once an account has been created or upgraded using a key, that key is no longer valid. If you share your key with someone else, you lose the ability to create an account for yourself. If you continue to have issues with activating your copy of Starcraft II with the CD-Key assigned to your box. I will be more than happy to take a look at the CD-key for you. I will require the following to do so.

1. Take a picture of your CD-Key
2. Attach it to your reply to this E-mail

Please be sure that you are on the correct page for your region. You will not be able to enter your authentication key on the other region's page.

If you, at any point, entered an account name and password, but then received a timeout error, it is likely your account was actually created or upgraded despite the error. Please try using the account and password you created or upgraded to log into the main website (http://us.battle.net/en/?locale=en_US) or the game itself. (For international Battle.net account set-up, in the bottom right hand corner of this Battle.net link, there is an "INTERNATIONAL" link.)

Just as if the game were missing a disk or the instruction manual, a copy of the game that has a bad Authentication Key is defective. If the place of purchase is not able to provide you with a replacement copy of the game, I recommend you please contact Billing and Account Services with the name of the retailer, the person you spoke with, and a phone number for the retailer in question. Billing and Account Services may be able to assist you further.

Billing representatives are on hand to take your call between 7am and 8pm Pacific Time, 7 days a week at 1-800-59-BLIZZARD (800-592-5499). Our Billing team will be happy to assist you with any billing or account related questions. We look forward to helping you get this resolved. You may also contact them via email at Billing@Blizzard.com.

Subject: CD-KEY not working

A friend of mine gave me a Trial Key which I used for 7 hours. Before it had even expired, I had bought the game.
I waited for the Trial Key to expire before trying to register my brand new CD-KEY. Unfortunately, I receive an error saying: "The authentication key you entered cannot be claimed. Please try again. Alternatively, click here then browse to a game dashboard and click “Enter CD Key” to try this key for a different region, or try this process again for a different Battle.net account."

I've attached a screenshot of the situation, which includes my CD-KEY.

Thanks for your quick help!
Jérémi aka payne
You can see the guy that replied actually had a WoW-related account. ;o

EDIT: A good thing to do would be to put in the Loading Screen of Probert 2 that people should come over SEN to look at Episode 1 because it was deleted by Blizzard. ;)

I just added a third Mapper's Note that directs them to SEN, and pointed out how lame Blizzard's censorship is. :P

All I know is, eventually, this will drive the mapping community to go underground and bypass Blizzard... or give up.

Uploaded the censored version. Not too much editing that had to be done.

The popularity got reset. The maps must be hosted at least once to be displayed I believe. ^^
