This is why I haven't joined a guild. (The real reason is I can't commit to raiding schedules anymore. )

Drama is part of being in a guild and not being in one. Drama is always in plain sight, eg; trade trolls.

I just got recently " the Kingslayer " title =) woot woot. Going to soon being doing 10 man heroics maybe with guild and see how it goes.

Ahk. I'm going to hit a wall soon. My crappy laptop can't handle a lot of graphics stress. The most I can get into without dying is VoA25 and that's because its pretty much tank and spank...but I went into ICC10 last night for the first time...which is fun. Tonight is ICC25 which I'm going to have to pass on.

When I used to play on my Mac, it was a bitch having the settings turned down since so many boss fights have spells you wouldn't be able to see (i.e. Deathwhisper's death and decay).

Seems like a typical unholy build, besides two points.
1) You skipped bone armor, bone armor is a good investment for only 1 talent point, 2% increased dps and increased mitigation, but I always find Bone Shield impossible to keep up in most circumstances, not sure if I agree with this
2) Corpse Explosion has always been iffy with me, I never find that I have enough runic power to properly utilize it, and Death Coil always seems like it's the better choice to dump RP into.

You Blood side is perfect.
Here are things you may want to consider for Unholy:

• Morbidity isn't that great anymore. Despite how much you will use (and probably do) Death Coil, you miss out on other more useful points with this one. And I don't know about you, but I haven't thrown down Death & Decay ever as DPS, so not much help there.
  
• UltimoTaylor is right, Corpse Explosion is a wasted talent, especially if you plan to raid. There are almost never corpses to explode near bosses, and even then it would take away froma quick Death Coil while waiting for runes to come back.
  
• Dirge is a great talent to put points into. Faster runic power generation means more to cast while you wait for your Runes to come off cooldown.
  
• Bone Shield is great because, as UltimoTaylor notes, it is a DPS increase. It is definitely difficult to keep up since it goes away after 3 hits, but on a 1 minute CD, it's not bad at all.

I know that Corpse Explosion is a wasted talent. But...its WAY too much fun in randoms. It also thoroughly harasses my friends, and when some idiot dies its fun to explode their corpse. So I know its wasted but honestly, the reason why I like unholy so much is corpse explosion (and omgghoulfollowingyou yay). So...it stays =P

However, you both bring up a good point about Morbidity. I like to throw out Death Coils as often as i can, especially since it has a DoT. I throw down D&D quite often when there are several targets. But as you mentioned with Corpse Explosion, I rarely use it with single targets or boss fights. Usually there's either kiting, or else I don't want to dps the adds, or well let's be honest three ruins for a single target attack? Its a waste. Good points all around. I didn't realize Bone Shield had such a low CD. It will take discipline keeping it up, but hey I'll try it. Dirge...I'm very iffy on. I know that rune power generation is good...but I seem to generate it faster than I can use it, so I'm using a lot of rune utility by it stacking past 100 and burning away. However I would not be surprised if the points from Morbidity go into Dirge. We'll see.

I like Morbidity, but I'm not sure if Death and Decay is actually worth the three runes for the aoe damage. Besides using pestilence/blood boil, is there any other way to do better AoE damage besides death and decay? It seems like decent damage, I love spamming death and decay in pugs, but I guess in raids not sure how viable it would be.

I used to care a lot about my dps in randoms. Now I don't care at all. Sometimes my dps drops to 2k...but its really because its not worth worrying about. Oh no, someone might have a low opinion of my performance in halls of lightening. ! That said, my off spec is blood (which I'm NOT happy with at all), so I might make that the randoms spec. Or I might get rid of it and do a tank spec. Weeee

Unless you're tanking, Pestilence is a better choice than D&D. Also consider that this will DoT up enemies so abilities like Death Strike or Heart Strike kick more ass without re-applying diseases.

And I completely understand the generating too much runic power, but I tend to abuse it when everything else is on cooldown.
