Disables... His DPS is really weak lategame compared to a carry unless he builds for it with Hellflower or something. Harkon's Blade is probably viable too.

I'm so glad Glacius's ult isn't terrible anymore, he was pretty much unplayable.

Harkons sucks on him, as the extra dps he gets is true damage. It's much more viable to get a sheepstick or other huge int boosting item for him, so he rips through all of the opponent's defenses.

In my last game, i worked well as a disabler, but a lot of support items also boost int, so i was doing around 200 dmg a shot, with a bonus of 60 true damage, and could rip through any of the enemy heroes except devourer (who scales WAAAAAAAY too well now late game with the way his new cadaver armor works. This one had around 4384 hp).

i dont think devourer's new armor system is op at all. the strength he gets from creeps was reduced, and the boost from heroes isnt that great either, unless you have a ton of kills late game, but if you have a ton of kills late game, then you pretty much already have won.

Devourer getting of kills = does not mean instant win. In fact, devourer getting all the kills is actually terrible, he can't carry, and his dps falters late game. A Devourer I played manged to farm up a Mock, Two Hearts and Frostfield Plate but when he tried pushing, we easily repelled him. Carries will dominate him late game, no matter how many kills he gets.

the new patch makes him to not require getting kill for his strength to go up. its like every kill in a 400 radius makes his strength go up 1.8 (level 4) at least i think its like that

That doesn't make my point any less correct though, assuming he is around for 20 kills, that is around 35 strength, which is quite significant, but late game, 35 strength cannot stand up to powerful carries. Devourer reigns supreme mid-game, if it goes any longer than that, he is fairly useless.

No, theoretically a game lasting 4+ hours would have a scout doing about 1000+ damage (before crits), in 4 hit bursts after coming out of invisibility. Or a Puppet Master doing 2500 damage ranged splashed crits while you're disabled, or a Chronos that does 1000 damage (before crits) and has a refresher orb to double ult. All of which would also have shrunken heads.

Devourer would get hugely fucked, he has nothing that scales except HP and his Ultimate, which only scales with Staff of the Master and does 0 damage versus shrunken head.

Please explain how Chronos does 1000 damage before crits. Does he have 3 doombringers or something? If so:
3 doombringers + boots + shrunken head + refresher + riftshards (for the mentioned crits) = 7 item slots. Error: does not compute.

He was definitely not useless in this game. He had a lot of charges on him, and, like i said, had around 4384 hp, and it took all of our combined efforts just to kill him, leaving us all at around half or 3/4 hp so magmus could rape us.

The better question is, why are you targeting Devourer in a team fight? Unless he is eating someone, stun him once and kill his team late game.

He basically ran at our base and tried to rax s singlehandedly... and did... by himself... then his team came in.

The thing that makes me really mad about pubs is that you can rax one lane of a team, and then your team decides they just want to run away before every teamfight, allowing the other team to oush back and beat you... I mean, really? I would silence their whole team and all my partners would do was run away... it was sad. I went from 5-1-10 to 7-9-14 by the end, just cause my team basically wound up feeding them, and then they had an easy time raping me.

That is why I only play carries in pubs 99% of the time. When I play with enough of us, I can direct us to a pushing strat, which is basically how we won against a team of carries.

Shieldbreaker, Shrunken Head, Refresher, Dual Wingbows, and Enhanced Marchers would be pretty close if not over, that's assuming your team doesn't go Daemonic or something to raise your DPS to an even more ridiculous amount, without even any Doombringer risk. Crit meant bash.

Either way, you're being picky: the point was Devourer is a fucking terrible carry no matter how long the game goes.

Wow, this suprised me. Kow is a really nice dude, unless one of you were harshing him, and I saw Hydro harshing him when he was having a bad game when we played, cannot see him doing this. Just wow. But yeah, disappointed too.

Got my first win since stat reset thanks to all my teams being bad or every enemy team being stacked. I hosted a No Locks w/AB game, and with a 50/50 I had like 22 assists and 6 kills as Pest. Played him mainly as support since that's what we were lacking, was a good game.
