Haha, I just had a funny game as tempest. Late game, everyone was last level, and the oposite team's carry was Soulstealer. My guys were trying to take down the bot and top rax, seeing how mid was already taken.

This is what happened: Soulstealer tried to take bot rax while everyone was on top. I had post haste, so I teled in and meteor'd him twice (some sort of strange kite) while pulling his creeps into my pool. It worked, but then he started attacking the towers that defend the whatever thing you destroy to win.

His equips: Assassin's Shroud, Wingbow, Symbolic Rage and some others
Mine: Restoration Stone, Assassin's Shroud, Post Haste and Shaman's headdress.

As soon as I got in his sight, he started auto attacking me. I ulted him, restored, ulted him again and then we were both on red hp. I just used that ice shards thing and he died. After that happened the whole team was like "just end this already dood"

lol.

Uh, I had a kinda epic game today I guess. I went into a pub, wasn't paying attention and it turns out it was a premade with duplicate heroes. So guess what the best hero they pick for this is? Of course, Thunderbringer. So I go against five thunderbringers, with a Bloodhunter, Madman, Tree, Pebbles and me, as Maliken. AWESOME. So basically, the first phase consists of constant bolt spam and chain lightning. With the help pebbles, I manage to get a double kill first blood with some sword spam. Basically, at Thunderbringers reach level 6 at this point, and then they all shoot off their ults, killing 4/5 of our team. Pebbles immediately disconnects because he dies, and we're down 1. I basically buy shaman headdress, and sword spam top and keep killing one of the Thunderbringers. I have to CONSTANTLY tell my team to buy magic armor, and these are my team mates: A cocky team mate who thinks he's the best, so he picks Tree to prove this...? A madman who doesn't get stalk until level 10, and a Bloodhunter playing his first game. It took them a combined 25+ deaths before they listened to me and all bought Shaman Headdresses. So guess it's up to me to carry. Every 3 minutes or so, we lose two people to TB ult because people didn't buy magic armor. The battle basically consisted of Tree using his ult, dieing, and me sword throwing and owning 3 Thunderbringers before running. This went on until I finally got a Shrunken Head + Heart, and started ripping them apart like crazy. Basically, they needed at least 4 Thunderbringers to hurt me consistently, and any less then that I would easily kill them. I push down mid, then top, then bottom. I had 10000 gold by the end of two pushes, and basically only died because I got careless, and went and bought a Doombringer for the lulz. then we won. one of the guy messages me later and says it was fun, he doesn't mind losing because it was so fun trying to kill me and I was all like " "



Morale of the story: always look at the game play settings in pubs. -_-

sounds like they sucked. Any good 5x TB team would know that you had shamans, and nobody else did, and would hunt you down, get you down to 50% life or so, THEN 5/10x ult.

Imo Assassin's Shroud is useful on Tempest because he has to get close to his enemies to actually land the ult.

blink works better

Blink is 100 times better, especially because against anyone with a clue they will just put a ward up when they push and then you're useless.

Tempest is one of my favorites still. =)

Swarm, you are the worst team player ever. I'm not going to play with you again alone. Seriously, it makes me so mad that I'm on your team and the least you could do is help the team out. But no, you insist sitting at the back of the team and waiting for the battle to engage, throw one hit, and then run.

rampage is awesome, havent checked out vindicator. they tweaked glacius's ultimate. i got some nice kills as him, and they tweaked predator a lil, too.

I don't like predator anymore. Sure, the cd was lowered, but it's not worth it. I really, really, fail at rampage, and I'm pretty bad at vindicator too.

Dream team for me would be:
Neki- Valkyrie- Legion Top OR Hellbourne Bot
Me- Chronos- Legion Bot OR Hellbourne Top
N`Hydrolisk- Demented Shaman/Plague Rider- Legion Bot OR Hellbourne Top
IP- Puppet Master/Arachna- Mid
Devilesk- Jereziah- Legion Top OR Hellbourne Bot

so your dream team consists of mostly carries?

also, the new match id lookups are pretty cool, cause we can screenie them or just post match id's up here. ID's might be better to truly understand how the game went.

Jeraziah and Demented Shaman/Plague aren't carries. Valkyrie is only a semi-carry. There's really only one hard carry that sucks early-game.

The only thing I don't like in this dream team is the Chronos. We already have a carry in IP, and our semi-carry is me. We would need a tank or AoE.

Missing my Pyro and Pest perhaps?

OK, I could go legionnaire instead.
I was thinking that IP isn't a hard carry, and that jeraziah is a sorta tank, but whatever.

Omg, i love vindicator. just harassing with his first spell puts opponents under in mana and hp, and is just perfect early on. And the + true damage he can get is also really good.

That sounds like the job of my Armadon. Too bad I stopped playing with SENners.
