All that I can say is that it is a bit messy. Make the counter chart align so we can compare one hero to another. Explain how to use the chart, because it is hard to understand what represents what. Seperate the heroes by version like "Special Ops [M3]", "Special Ops [M7]" and "Assault [1.5]" to make things less confusing. Also, "strategy" concept of this thread isn't much because you don't tell things like how to use the spells to the best of it's abilities and the different builds that they can follow. All write in this thread are spell discriptions and hero's counters, but you should tell them why ____ counters ____ and why this spell is better than the other. Add in how this hero has in advantage over that hero, and how they can manipulate this advantage to win. Take a look at this thread, and maybe you can sticky the guides to your thread as well. I know this guide is incomplete, but it needs much more than spell descriptions and counter charts.

haha i know what you mean, cant find the right words for it. I've had a couple of instances where after 1 of my teammates failed to capture a base, the other one would just call him a noob and then would leave immediately. Surely no one wants that, help me find the word for it haha.

I re-wrote it for you. I don't play Temple Siege but this is pretty basic stuff.

I am a little confused as to how I am going to fit all the characters, when im already at the half mark of "words left". BTW, an in depth counter guide will be coming. This is guide serves as the basics of all basics to new players.

You will have to use a second post. Ask a mod to delete Yoshi's post, and edit your post after that for the second part.

I don't get the counter system, what does it even mean? I was thinking red meant the hero was more of a counter but then you have red and green at the end and the beginning too though.

This was more detailed than I thought it would be. I'll put a link to it in the first post in the temple siege topic.

Okaay...

I've read all of this so far, and you do have errors...
however, I'm too lazy to correct them for you due to the fact that, with the new version still collecting dust in the works... anything could change..

Similarly, please check this out: http://www.staredit.net/topic/6408/

It is a strategy guide for specific heroes.. But I'd like you to focus on Moose's Chart...

Anyway... Here's what I know is wrong/should be included

Medic - v1.5 versions do not give allies Full HP. It gives them 20% higher health than what their current level is at.
Also, it's L3 gives allies 50+ gas, and x2 mana regain speed for 30 seconds...

Dark Templar - The DT is not "Invisible".. the computer is Allied to it. It is called Enemy Imitation, so it is imitating the enemy, meaning the enemy thinks its one of them, and does not attack.. :P

Archon - "attraction .. Magnetic Channel" .. I spent days figuring out spell names, and you just ripped my heart there :C... anyway, u forgot to mention that it also draws in "spell units".. or units spawned to imitate a spell... rendering many offensive spells useless. However, a few spells can be "manualled" to attack the Volt, such as Mutant's L2... which turned out to be a big counter against volt.

Lastly, your rating system bothers me a bit, because I always wanted all heroes to be rated the same in usefulness, which is why I'm making v1.5 .. :\... I also thought you'd be biased towards heroes that are more favored, such as the Mutant, DT, and LM... since, evidently, they're more unique and fun... :D.. I'd rather you rate that way... because rating them for their usefulness is... Blasphemy :C

Other than that... thanks for liking my map this much :D.. <3

OK, I understand what you are saying. I didn't really know the names to the spells so I put a brief name. I was debating between a brief name and the real name, and I guess I mixed them up. I will stick with the real names now I guess.

As I said before, make seperate sections for each version of the hero. You are mixing some of the spells up in some versions. Spec Ops can't make tank turrets. Assault doesn't have sensor grenade in m versions, and engineer doesn't have the spells that you said it has. Assault and Engineer are not the same hero. They should be classified differently. Same with Spec Ops and Assault.

Make the names correct. Assault's (M3) spell one is not called "Mana drain". It is called "Tear Gas". Make the names of the dropboxes "Assault (MT/M3)" or "Engineer (1.5)" and not "Firebat". It is easier to know which hero you're talking about that way. Oh.. and... "Super Volt"? lol... :P

Your counters table is still confusing. I have no idea how to use it and what the colours mean, so it is kind of useless. Try to change how the table is written, or maybe just list what the hero is countered by and what it counters.

Some of the information is incorrect. Saying things like "Summon 13-15 DTs" makes us think you are unsure of the spells and makes the thread less professional. Get your facts straight. Some of the tips are also incorrect. Zealot's spell one... "Maintains shields at 10" as it states. It still could be used past spell 2. It greatly reduces the damage taken from mutant, mutant's spell 2 and Spec Ops, and should be considered when facing them. Volt's L3 has a larger AoE than its L1. It shouldn't be comboed with spell 2. The two stuns will cancel each other. It should be included in a combo that starts with spell 1, then spell 3 and spell 4.

You need to add more accurate information on how to use the spells to the best of its abilities. For example, include how Medic's "Cancel Attack", as you state it, is good against mana dependant heroes like assassin and light mage. It prevents assasin from escaping and light mage from going invincible. Or how assault's "Mana Drain", as you state it, is good to be comboed with the nuker. It prevents and melee units from attacking it, with the exception of Infested Terrans.

I understand that this is incomplete, but you should put these things into consideration while writing the other heroes.

I agree with everything Yoshi says, except for that I actually like the Counter tables now that I understand how to read them.

Alright, since everyone is asking for an in depth guide on 1 specific unit, Ill do it. I tried explaining the basics but it seems everyone here knows how to play lol. And I need help with the versions and spells. Alot of spells and names have been rearranged and I cant think of them off the top of my head. I tried going back into game but all temple versions wont allow you past the hero select stage with only 1 person.
