Devourer just sent me a PM saying he would never played SC:BW again because he just deliberately uninstalled the game and broke the CD. Previously, he has also said to me that he would reduce his activity over SC stuff so it's probably because of this that he isn't active much in here

Dark_Marine was in a bar, flirting, when he died. He was actually flirting with three different girls when it happened.

A Mafia member opened the door to the bar and held up a gun.

"NONE OF YOU FUCKERS MOVE!", he shouted. "IF YOU DO, THIS BAR WILL RUN RED WITH YOUR BLOOD, MOTHERFUCKERS!" He laughed like a rabid animal.

"Now, I want three things from you. First, give me some motherfucking beer. Secondly, one of these lovely ladies will be coming home with me. Third, I don't want to find any police cars around here. If I do, YOU'LL ALL MOTHERFUCKING DIE!" He waved his gun around as he shouted this last, accidentally firing off a shot that almost killed the bartender.

After the Mafia member finished drinking his beer, he slowly walked over to where Dark_Marine was sitting. He examined the three girls and finally selected one.

"Now, you will be my new whore. If you don't, you will die." He mimed blasting her brain out with his gun. He then walked out with the terror-stricken girl, who could not have been more than 16, shooting Dark_Marine in the face for no apparent reason as he walked out.

I just got back from the four age threads, and not a single person other than myself and TZ even posted in them. I'm inclined to believe that this clue is not directed at age.

Some work I've been doing in the past hour: 16 is the girl's oldest age. There are 3 girls, and the Mafia guy [ironic that it was in such a public place, and nobody recognizes him] makes 3 stipulations. Random idea lead me to multiply all these together, 16 * 3 = 48 * 3 = 144. Then I followed another hunch, and knowing that 12² is 144, I looked around. The 12^th and 144^th post are both by Ashamed . The above quote from Ashamed is also on the 12^th post...

Ashamed's avatar is Sephiroth from Final Fantasy, and he goes crazy [rabid?] in FF7.

"3" is definetly a hint. and i think the "archon" in archonville was a hint against angelspirit, because archons are supposidly angelic and godly.

I found another 3 in darklings profile. -3 karma. not sure if anyone else pointed that out before.

Im gonna try to find out who the recurring 3 is linked to, but for now I am voting Ashamed. and if he isnt mafia, then we are gonna have a bunch more random clues that aren't linked to any much in particular...

Hmmm, I try to think of it and poison_us and Raccoon both seems to help each other out at setting the blame over Ashamed and that smells mafianess, though we cannot risk even on high possibilities to lose an other townie. Madroc was a big mistake (mostly mine), lets act wise.
The first thing that stressed out to my eyes was also the fact that they got to kill someone pretty randomly: why not killing active players? My though is that it simply means that the clues we've provided so far aren't right and points to non-mafia members. But once again, that's speculation.

Anyways, I'm pretty mind-fucked and it's 4h15AM here, so I'll just go for Raccoon.

Nevermind, after thinking a little [see the final quote] I realized that you mean that lynching Ashamed might really mess up the game. I don't doubt that you can prove it, either, but even if I did, I wouldn't ask you to.

The 3^rd person pronoun indicates, as Raccoon noticed, that the Mafia is most likely a male. To me, that rules out Rainah, at the very least.
With proper knowledge of pronoun usage, you would also realize that the two pronouns have no definite antecedent--meaning who this phrase is referring to is hard to determine. It could either mean Ashamed or a different Mafia member. Sonofabitch.

Why are all my hard-fought clues always wrong? I spent almost 3 hours looking on SEN for stuff, just to be shot down.

I'll get rid of the screenie if you want, TZ, but I still like my in-depth clues against Ashamed more than the ones I got against Raccoon. Especially since "Oh, raccoons get rabid sometimes! LYNCH T3H COON!".

I was joking about the "his" clue. But I don't see how you guys can lynch me. The only clue that might make me look like a mafia is the rabid clue. And I don't think that would be a good clue against "raccoon" because it could be interpreted in many ways. All the other clues you have against me are kind of bad and vague, too.

Poison has some pretty good clues against ashamed. I'm also suspicious against Devourer, or anyone else who has 3's in their profile, because of the recurring big "3" clue. I say lynch Ashamed now. And once we find out he is mafia, we try to work off the "3" clue against someone.
