I won my first game today. I think Hellbringer is my best hero, I don't know if anyone else uses hellbringer or not, but he is awesome. Found out I can't do 5v5 games because I lag or get dced, but I can do 3v3's and other matches with only a slight lag.

nope. i don't think it is my connection, i tried turning all the quality/performance things to low quality, high performance, but that did nothing. I played a game on my friends computer and it was amazingly better, so im gonna try and fix it.

Sure fire way: reformat, install windows + updates, driver updates, install hon and tweak, defrag.
That would make the game run the best possible way.

Hellbringer is a great support. I can play him nicely too.

He is definitely my favorite, but the only problem is that his one damaging spell doesn't do a lot of damage for a DOT spell.
I also love his picture.

I can play Tempest reasonably well, I still need to learn how to use him with a port key, though. I just neutral for the first 10-15 minutes for Alchemist's bones and gank a few times, and that lets two people solo a lane so it works out better for the team, too.

I always thought that the DPS was supposed to solo, though, and they are usually the agility heroes.

I am also practicing Magebane, I like his blink a lot and if I can figure out how to use his ultimate well I think I'd be decent with him.

Magebane's ultimate is for when you hit a foe a good amount of times, have burned all their mana, and they are 1/2 HP with no mana pool. That's how to make it deal lethal damage.

I laugh when MB's blink in to Ult me with full mana.

I still find it doing next to nothing on an empty mana opponent. It says it deals AoE, so maybe the original target doesn't even get hit...?

magebane doesn't have any aoe spells. do you remember what hero you cast it on? some hero have a small mana pool and if your ult was lv1 or something it wouldn't do that much damage

It would do next to nothing on an empty mana opponent because the damage amount is the mana that the opponent doesn't have. The original target does get hit, though.

I understand it better now. The problem was that I was just using it on whatever hero had low mana, which is usually STR heroes that engaged me in melee. When I use it on Intel heroes, it's a lot more effective.

And just went 18-2-7 as Arachna. =D

Question. Do any other heroes have spells like Hellbringer's "Life void" spell?
cause thats really the only reason why I like him, cause otherwise i suck with him.

Where did you get that quote saying that it does AOE? I'm looking everywhere and I still can't find it. I'm pretty sure it is a single target ability.

I think not, at least not AoE. Predator uses Canibalism, which damages the enemy for 6% of their HP and heals him for the same ammount, if I am not wrong, but again, it is a passive ability, and therefore, it works while Predator attacks.

I tried Hellbringer, and if played right, he can be amusing. Great support, the one he grants. Can be an amazing pusher thanks to Malphas, and his Life Void spell helps a lot if you team up with a carry like Madman (a lot of life steal). The DOT is decent, and makes enemies run away most of the time.

Just stick close to someone else who is not support hero and you can make an amazing team.

I am trying Swiftblade again. Not bad, might make it my actual main hero. But first, I must come up with a ridiculous name for it, like Swiftballs.
