Brothers In Arms DS

Overview

A nice WWII style "over the shoulder shooter", at least as far as handhelds go. The picture might say it has wifi but I have yet to see a button to go on wifi or use it, However it does have a multiplayer for friends to vs each other. The game might seem like an open type of shooter but it is about as guided as guided can get. As far as actual game play goes it is decent and as long as you are good at using the touch screen you should have a lot of fun playing it.

A lot of nice features went into the making of this game along with some good use for the touch screen finally. A nice inventory system from a weapon changer to throwing grenades which changes your perspective and you can adjust how far you want to throw the grenade, The inventory also doubles as the aimer mover for your gun.

Grading

Graphics - 8/10 - I was pretty surprised in the quality of the graphics by this game
Sound - 7/10 - If explosions and gunshots are your thing your going to love the sounds to this game
Game play - 9/10 - Solid game play with some good uses to the DS functions
Fun Factor - 5/10 - Game is fun but I wish it wasn’t so guided and you had a little more freedom

Tony Hawk: Proving Ground

Overview

Tony hawk is back with his 9th? game. Skate the eastcoast in new missions from contests to hitting people into the water or make your own ramps and skate them how you choose. Choose to be a contest skater a hardcore skater or a creative skater.

I personally think these games are slipping in quality and I cant wait till I play Skate and see how it compares

Grading

Graphics - 6/10 - Decent but nothing jawdropping
Sound - 9/10 - Solid soundtrack and sounds
Game play - 6/10 - Lags occasionally and is somewhat choppy
Fun Factor - 10/10 - You should know what your getting yourself into when you buy it by now

I'm not TOTALLY sure, but I don't think he's made out of money.
