Enemy attacking method

I am making a Gears of War map, as most of you that have read my 3 last topics already know, and I imagined a great system for shooting, similar in triggers than the one in RUSH, but working with any unit.

What I want to do is put a button on the map (dropship or barrack system) that toggles aiming mode. Then the player can only move verry slowly (using burrowed unit), like if he was aiming. When in aiming mode, you have a scourge that has a location following it, it is used as the aiming reticle. Now its up to you, you can shoot manually (using another button to togle manual shooting) or you can leave it automatic and fire the weapons as soon as it gets over an enemy (this feature is added to prevent low-ammo weapons from wasting bullets against weak enemies)

The rest of this system is pretty much the same as tuxedo-templar's system in RUSH, except you can have any unit as hero and that you require a barrack system to reload and to toggle aiming and autofire.

Just here for the pie

I never really liked the whole "move this unit here to activate" ordeal mostly because while you're taking your sweet time to attack, your enemy is constantly moving, making it very tough for you.

Make it so that a loc cycles through and moves a burrowed unit under every unit in the game while in aiming mode. Make it a building so you can use the keyboard instead of the mouse to activate.

@ lil-inferno: This is not a problem, being gears of war, you must cover behind anything yuu can if you want to survive. When you are behind cover, you are almost invulnerable to enemy attacks.

@ Anonymous: What do you want me to do with the burrowed unit cycling?

Make it so when you aim the enemies are slowed down so you actually have a fighting chance? Seeing as you can't control two units at once.

You can still move your hero while aiming, but you are slower than usual, and you must play behind cover since this is Gears of War. You could change the system to slow the enemies if you need to, but I use a cover system in my map that must be used if the player wants to survive.
