The revealing of the detective results would be somewhat difficult. But if two people claim to be Detectives and are wrong about him lying, then they are obviously mafia. If anyone lies about being a detective, it should be fairly easy for a real detective to figure it out. If two lie, then it's obvious.

Here is what I think happened. Mafia discussed with each other after seeing who voted who. To avoid it, one of the mafia started vote on Paravin. and then another one followed with a poor excuse of "saving himself".
