Here's a new map I made. The mineral blocks in the sides of the mains have 150 each, and the mineral block on the ramp has 75. I'm not sure if I should keep that one though. The corner expos have a ramp with lurker eggs behind the minerals. Not sure if that expo is too hard to hold or not. Well, tell me what you think!

Looks great! I like some of the extended you put into that!
Could use a few more doodads to make it look a little more realistic (like trees), but other than that great job Demon! :D

I don't usually put doodads until I'm done with balancing, but thanks Havok! I made some changes to this map a little while ago, but I haven't posted them up yet.

The map is great, and I like the extended terrain, But I agree, it just needs a few trees.

Update! :O I changed a lot of things:

- Moved minerals at corner expos to the other side
- Took out back door from main
- Added ramps to third expo
- Took away mineral from third expo ramp
- Added some doodads

The sword and the faith

Still too tight, T will definitely have a party on this map. Your multiple routes don't start early enough on near the mains, and the design currently isn't going to allow them to.

The ramp in the bottom middle has some excess tiles that need to be replaced with standard dirt(I'm a terrainer so that's where my perspective comes from lol)

Everything else looks even/fair because you used symmetry.

Symmetry equals only positional balance. Racial balance is much more complicated.

Yes, I am aware, but I already stated I was looking at it from a terraining pov.

Most maps don't have racial balance so.

Hence one of the needs for new maps?

Usually, people will accept the fact that perfectly balancing the map racially is impossible, so they just get rid of overly advantageous points.
