The thing is, 99.999% of mods that have teams larger than 2 people working never get the mod done.

Making a simple mod for a game like Starcraft with a team of over 20? Yeah, that might not work.
Just a heads up.

she/her

For emphasis on what I'm trying to say, your graphic's quality looks f*cking horrendous, like tentacle rape gone wrong. No offense intended of course; I just can't seem to find any non-offensive phrases to describe it that would encompass how I feel and cringe looking at your buildings and mouse pointer.

It probably is not such a good idea to try to put together such a large team for your first mod or project or whatever the Hell. At least, I'm getting the impression that this is your first or one of the first attempts at creating and finishing a serious project.
It also seems like you are overreaching. I doubt this mod will ever come to fruition, but if it does, I shall applaud you that day even if it sucks.

17 project members? Considering the extent at which modding can reach in StarCraft at the current moment in time, even 7 members would probably be ridiculously useless. What I mean to say is, once you get above 10 or so members in most modding projects of anything, things will get far too complicated to process. It gets harder and harder to organize tasks efficiently with large groups of people.
In my opinion, a smaller team of, say, 3, 4, or so members would suffice for this particular mod if you are looking to create a medium-scale total conversion. Not only that, but you won't need any sort of centralized hub to get things done right. It's easier for a group leader to get a word around to 3 or 4 other people, than to 20 at a forum.

Bleh, I'm starting to lose focus on what I'm trying to say.
I hope you aren't serious about the number of people in your mod, though.

EDIT:
I would like the "Other" position in the "Voices" category, for the lulz.

well the campaign one is the one I wouldn't mind having some help. but if no one shows it doesn't matter, just posted to see if I can make it go any faster in progress. but it doesn't look like it. I hope to release a beta soon so keep informed about that. (of course it will show up at my site first)

Lord of the Locker Room

you guys got trolled something fierce

Show them your butt, and when you do, slap it so it creates a sound akin to a chorus of screaming spider monkeys flogging a chime with cacti. Only then can you find your destiny at the tip of the shaft.

Nah, not a troll.

Dear Kayden:
The number of 'slots' you have for each category are, after everything is said and done, arbitrary. You aren't likely to find that many people to begin with in just one of your categories, and altogether only servers to make your mod appear desperate with all those empty slots. Even if you did miraculously find so many people, a larger staff does not equate to more, faster, or better work. It just means more management, and more people likely to drop. A shrinking team often harms the moral of those remaining, whose effects are usually never immediately apparent. A small team is ideal; and until you have more experience under your belt, a matching ambition is realistic to success.

I can do voice acting if you want. And/or help with random crap.

Oh, if I were you, I'd take out all the slots and categories, and instead put a list of who volunteered and what they signed up for. Eg. TassadarZeratul (voice acting, helping with random crap).

(I'm TassadarZeratul, if you didn't know.)

In case you include my in the credits, use "New-/Hydrolisk", NOT "New-.Hydrolisk".
