Sorry to ask this, it could easily be tested, but I just don't have time to right now...

I need to know if it is possible, via a computer-controlled medic placed near a player controlled dropship, to blind the said dropships.

(I know I have to make blind energy-free or use a trigger to make the medic's energy to 100%, but i was not sufe is she would blind a unit taht is not attacking her...)

I need this because i used up all the room I had in my map and having a dropship with sight would ruin a part of the map...

Good thing you took the time to check the tutorials http://www.staredit.net/?p=tutorials&tut=29

He had a legitimate reason to post, as the dropship does not attack.

So if i refer to the tutorial, it will work if there is another unit attacking the medic?
And i guess i'l have to make this unit invinsible so the medic blinds the dropship...

To blind non-attacking units, simply place a invincible unit next to the medic that will atack it.

We can't explain the universe, just describe it; and we don't know whether our theories are true, we just know they're not wrong. >Harald Lesch

Yeah, invisible or invincible, both will work, as long as the medic gets panic stricken and feels forced to do something. :D

Hum... if i need to blind one dropship for all 6 players, do I have to make one attacking unit for each ones or will the medic blind everything she see as soon as one unit attacks her?

I think actually testing it/trying it out is the best answer, as no situation/solution is definite.

Yea Kaias, as you were posting this, I got into a bit of testing, and i found out taht even with no AI and nothing attacking them, the medics blinds the dropships, but only once... so I came with the solution to make one medic for each dropship and they blind their respective dropship. It appears the medics only blinds the nearest one...

UndeadStar -- I wonder if that's what happened to me. A returned product (screen) was "officially lost" for a while before being found and refunded. Maybe it would have remained "lost" if I didn't communicate?
