ive want to replace the sound of tassadar to some custom voice but it still follows the default voice
ive followed the right path on stardraft.mpq and rename the sound file
ex.
sound\protoss\tassadar\utapss01 - utayes03
but in the end it still use the default voice
ive also played Legacy of the ConFed mod and it some custom voice is not working like
Gerson Drake - replaced Jim Raynor (marine)
Veargoth - replaced Protoss Archon

Look at the units.dat sounds tab. It lets you pick the sfxdata.dat entries to use for each of the unit's sound types. Make sure the correct sounds are selected. You can edit sfxdata.tbl to change the paths to the sound files (your custom sound files names).

ive follow what you said. i added some path on sfxdata.tbl by using tblpad. the path is like this
New\Aldaris\AlPss00.wav
...
New\Aldaris\AlYes03.wav
and applied it on DatEdit sfxdata.dat
and place it on my mpq. but in game the unit doesn't make any sound
it puzzles me but in some units (like ghost,devourer,stukov,) i can change their voice to customs ones by just copying the default path ang placing it on mpq.
ex. sound\zerg\devourer\ZDvPss00.wav can change the def voice of devourer

The custom path has to be under sounds\ i believe. For sounds\shit\crap.wav, the path in the tbl is shit\crap.wav.
