i was wondering if anyone would help me with cloaking my buildings. when i try to disable doodad state they will just become unclickable sprites, im obviously doing something wrong. Also if you could tell me all of the buildings that crash that would be swell

Cloaking Units

Cloaking UnitsUse the trigger called Disable Doodad State on a unit to cloak it. Not all units can be cloaked this way; disabling some units will cause the game to crash.
For buildings (Bunker, Beacon, Photon Cannon, etc) the players will need to "detect" the building before it actually cloaks.
This can be done in a few different ways:

1. Give the building to the human player for a moment, then give it back to the computer.
2. Turn on shared vision with the unit's owner with the Run AI Script action for a moment, then turn it back off.
3. Use an actual detector unit, such as an Observer, Science Vessel, Overlord, etc. Create the unit near the disabled building, then remove it after a moment.
A moment after the disabled building is detected and then un-detected by the player, it will appear to cloak.
If your disabled buildings look normal but are unclickable, you probably didn't have the detector alive long enough to actually detect the building.
Alternative MethodIf the unit you want cloaked crashes the game when disabled, or it doesn't work for some other reason, you may still be able to cloak it with the "Disable-Enable-Enable" method.

* Issue order to all 'Unit' owned by Player at 'Location':
Move to 'Lestination'.
For the order to move action, it must try to move, is not important "where", or if it can move or not. After the unit is cloaked with this trigger you can do anything you want with it.
Not all units can be cloaked with this method.

If you use the second technique I don't think you can crash. Well, according to the guide.

hm.. i cloaked the whole enchilada of the terran buildings and at least one of them made me crash. I didnt use the second technique to do it. i really dont to test them one by one >_>

also another interesting fact, when i tried to disable that cheesy enchilada the buildings wouldnt cloak, instead they would just be clickable crashers of death.

I think that it may have been either the engineering bay or the supply depot, animation causes crashes more often than those without it.

Wow, that's funny, the two I guessed actually cloak, I guess it's kinda random for that sort of thing.

i do need help cloaking them though. I dont want to cloak just one but like a bunch. any ideas on how i should proceed?

Do that, but also make a tiny peice of land, with weapons there that can kill with 1 hit.
Move units there, then move them to the location u want for them to be held at.
Check how many units are there, create the units needed and then repeat.
