So last year I got a DS along with Pokemon Diamond. It was the first pokemon game I played since the original red/blue and silver/gold. I stopped for a few months and recently I started playing again and I wanted to know if any of you also play it. This topic will be for general discussion and you can also post your friend code for WiFi trading which I will compile in a list below.
Currently I'm looking for people to trade back and forth with so I can evolve some pokemon, and also if anyone has Ruby/Sapphire/Emerald I'd like to get some of those pokemon you can only get there especially a Blissey that knows seismic toss.

I haven't played it yet, but if i have time, i
may start getting back into the pokemon games (the ones after blue/red/yellow editions). I started watching a couple episodes pokemon diamond and pearl from dattebayo and it is like totally different from back when they were back in orange island and johto adventures.

I must say that while the original Red/Blue were classic and the original 150 were the best, these newer versions are pretty hardcore with a lot of depth to the gameplay, and I mean A LOT of depth. The only criticism I have is that it's still targeted towards 10 year olds.

i've got pokemon diamond several months ago, i play it every now and then, trade with friends and such. true that the criticism is a blunt, but whatever. some people think pokemon is for little kids and such, mainly cause of little furry creatures and no blood action. but this generation, i guess they stepped it up a notch on the maturity level. the game is still one of the top games for the ds right now. millions of people are playing it, and not all of them are young kids, so don't be afraid to admit you're playing pokemon
. i am mostly interested in the mechanics and strategy of the game though. raise creatures to be strong and battle other players through wifi is fun.
