1. Go to thinkorswim.com
2. Register for an account (this takes a really long time)
3. Download paper money
4. Record the date, and start trading your 100k worth of fake money
5. Whichever one of us has the highest ("net liquidating value" - 100k) six months after they start wins

You must be at least 18 years old, and a citizen of the United States or of Canada to play.

As for myself, I started yesterday and I'm up 500. If I were playing with 3500 of actual money, I'd be making a tenth of minimum wage as an investor.

Well, this uses a program for the purpose, a very powerful program.

One that allows stuff like short selling, also trading options, futures, currencies etc. For instance you could buy gold if you were so inclined.

Also this is longer term.

EDIT: How have I done better in two days than half of the participants in that game did in whatever time :...:

Vrael -- Maybe here on the StarEdit Network I could look through the Forums for some Introductions to people who care about the Topics of Dehumidifiers and Carpet Cleaning?
