Well, I'd like to after this version is complete and tested thouroghly to create multiple other variants, with different layouts. If any good terrainers would like to help me with extended terrain, I'd love to enlist them as a part of this project.

I've decided on scrapping the Troop Gates for resupplying use, and use them for troops that are retreating when their commander has perished.

Epic Production Bump: Leveling up and raw Skill leveling has been completed.

Thanks to DM and myself, we created a system of "EXP Growth" for SC. Using death counters, we've created a fomula that adds 1% more EXP required for the next level, starting with 10 EXP. By the time the player reach level 100, they will need 2000 EXP. Tested it myself, and it works flawlessly. Also, instead of doing 175 triggers for levels, we did it in under 20.

Also, expect soon updates for totally base functionality, and spawns. Yes, that means remote playability.\


EDIT: Level ups half functional. Done with Attack, Armor, and Shield upgrades. Working on Hero HP and Mana now. Tomorrow will be base heals for units, and spawns.

Update: (Wait Im not the creator...) Finished enlistment of troops at supply bases. I estimate the map is 45% complete using this little checklist I made (Oh how trustworthy it must be, when Alliences and Upgrades are a check :ermm: )

Ive also decided Im going to help my brother finish this damn map, so expect more from me probably in this post.

Edit: Did more, map is 47.5%

Lingie here. Appriciate DM's help, and I got done with player HP levels and healing. Wanted to ask a serious question about healing though.

Currently, I decided that after 1:30 of no hostility inside a supply base, it fully heals players. Well, DM proposed that (and this was after I told him that I thought this could be a serious problem late game..) that we add a "No Hostilites" timer. Bascially said, if you order your AI troops on an attack, it'll set a DC timer for your commander that has attacked, and will not allow them to heal entirely for 5 minutes or so. Though yes, I'm sure there can be some speculation for the duration of this timer, I'd like to ask anyone if they have a better idea for its cause, or perhaps a better idea for the timer.

Also, this means that I should reveal how the Minimap is going to work when it is finished. We've decided that each of the commanders on the minimap will have the ability to "Attack" to a base, or "Move/Retreat" to a base. This is for conserving troops, or saving your commanders life.

Eh I feel like a jackass doing this bumping my own brothers post on this dead subforum.

I think Warlords: Desert sounds bland. How about Warlords: Desert Struggle?

Well, the name was just a generic thing to hold it over. Anything would work really.

Also, got a small bug in the second Main Base's healing, but once I figure it out, both teams now have HP, Attacks, Defense, and Shields done.

With the modern EUD editors, I don't think they're calculating nearly as many offsets as you might imagine. Still some fancy ass work that I'm sure took a ton of effort
