Again, rough balance so far. We need extensive testing to discern what to set initial HPs to.

You're also going to need to include a secret Khalis Crystal named "Vi3t-X".
None.
Having large HP values is necessary to facilitate easier balance in later versions. How do you cut a +5 damage upgrade in half?
None.
Double the players HP, or 1.5. My thoughts exactly.
Also, I just found out that triggers in "All Players" do NOT satisfy "Allies" and "Foes". That took me forever to find out.. Maybe. But I've been finding glitches left and right in my triggers. Most if not all of the current map bugs should be fixed, even though I didn't report them.

I see where the love is in this family. "Oh DM helped me but I dont need to mention it. 3v3 Temple Siege anyone? :3"
Also hes gonna wake up with all the base triggers done.

It is the dawn of a newer age. People fight with new weapons each year, and are trained to be faster, stronger, and more deadly. Some people seek power, and desire to rule the land. Thats where your story begins. Each team fights for dominance over a large battlefield for the claims to the land, no matter how barren or how lush it is. It is their land, and will be so as long as they fight and die for it.
The only part colored in red is a little cliche, "
faster, stronger, faster, and more deadly" is fine but you might change deadly but it isn't really necessary,
the only part which really threw me off was "People fight with new(er) weapons each year", nothing wrong with it but it sound incredibly cliche.

Woah their cowboy.
its not really a big deal but you would probly do it to yourself apparently. you somehow came out with Faster stronger faster.
Ill try it out, sounds cool enough.
None.
I really have to thank DM for having patience with helping Debug my systems. This is unfortunely the first time I've ever made a map of this calibur.
Anyways, expect testable(?) amounts of gameplay in the next week. We're going to get the bases done today, and maybe get spawning and hero's stats up too.
Edit: Also, I've got a question for everyone. What of the following should I make the "Supply Bases" do:
- Generate EXP
- Generate Attack and Armor points for the holding team.
- Generate Income for the player who holds it. In turn, the income can be used to purchase fun things, such as ambushes.
- After a set amount of time of zero hostile encounters, Supply Bases heal you and your forces away from home. (This system is already in effect in each Team's Main Base.)
Mix and match, feedback is appriciated.

3 and 4 sounds like a good combo.

I say put immobilized invuln Medics in the Supply Bases for healingness.
None.
When we look realistically, just because you own a territory, that doesn't mean that your soldiers will heal themselves.
Patroling medics seem like a feasable strategy. As for mechanical units, perhaps consider an scv or percentage change?
Personally, I like the way Civilization IV (by Sid Meyer) used the "Aggression" timer.
Whenever you enter an enemy controlled territory, it will take a said amount of time before it is under total control. If you hold that sector for a predetermined amount of time, it is yours. If the enemy interferes, not so much.
And more ideas later. Lingie Sux.
None.
I don't think medics would be the best idea, since all of the soldiers will NOT be under your control. Thats why I'm proposing a two ~ five minute timer that begins when there are no enemies inside the base, and resets if enemies enter.

That's like saying:
Hey, no one invaded us. I guess at the five minute mark, we all get God'Heal'd.
None.
Got a better idea, that doesn't involve medics and SCVs? I'm trying to cut back on things so that the players can still each have a substantial army without CCMUing.
Also, Magicide wanted me to ask about the Hero and Unit crossbows: Should the hero be a Hydralisk and the units be Goliaths?
And again, feedback would be nice for the Supply Bases. I'd rather get a good vote for something and run with it, if I like the idea myself.
EDIT: While I'm still thinking about it.. At each of the Troop Gates, theres going to be four guards and a captain like the Dynasty Warriors maps circulating around B.net. Of the remaining units in SC, I've got Marines and Dragoons, and the heroes of each to use. What should I use? I'm currently leaning towards 4 marines and a Fenix.

Why not add medics to your army then?
And then, once you control a territory that MAYBE contains a medical facility, you spawn a medic bonus or something.
And make bases easier to defend. Make artificial or natural choke points.
--> Heroes
----------------
Hydralisk Hero, Goliath Units. Why? NO MICRO INVOLVED.
Heroes should also have more range. Consider a normal ghost over a Stukov. Or maybe it's a retarded hero?
None.
For the player heroes, the Normal Ghost is already there. Also, this game has little to nothing to do with microing. Its actual macro army strategy.
Also, if I put medics in the armies, then the two squad system would burst into flames. Trust me, the medics aren't going to cut it.

Sleeping wolves wake hungry.
That's what he means.
Hydras > Goliaths because Hydras need less micro.
DO EET.
Maybe have Supply Bases give you extra troops/higher troop max?
None.
DM actually told me an idea around that. You can reinforce your troops at Defense bases and Main bases, but only at supply bases can you actually enlist more men. If your number goes to zero, no more men will respawn for you and your unit until you visit a supply base.

It wouldn't be a main base then. It'd be a research facility.
None.

XD i mean't to say Faster, stronger, more deadly (sorry my mistake lol)
Btw too many quotes XD
(i like the desert idea as a intro map, another suggestion would be jungle for 3rd or 2nd map since it was epic terrain, (Waterfalls, cliff terraining , bridge terraining , ruin terraining, ect
