Wings 3D Texture Problem

Hello

Alright, I got a problem.
I'm using Wings 3D to design my 3d-modells, however, for the first ~15 modells everything was working fine, also with the texture, but... today, the texture is bugged, well, I describe it.
I created the texture the same way I created them in my other modells, too, I "refreshed" it at the outliner, nothing happened, it was the same modell/color like before, but, when I selected the whole object the texture was there, when I disselected it, it was away again...
I cannot remember that I pushed something which could have caused that, how to fix that? help :-(

Is the texture there in 3DS max when you render it? Either way, I'd just try a reinstall.

Hello

I did not render, I even don't use 3dmax at all (at least not for that progress)
I create texture and make it in gimp like in your tutorial.

Well, if you're not rendering it, then we can't tell for sure if the texture is actually getting applied to the model or not. I'd just suggest a reinstall of Wings, as I said before.

i coudn't tell you how could you fix exactly Since i used wings a few times to see how Wings has good stuffs
anyways if i could tell my idea
as i think from what you said, i think you'd better check Render Options or Driver settings related View port and Rendering at Wings at first
that's only one what i can tell you currently

Hello

I reinstalled it, but it still is bugged. It seems like it's only on that one modell.
I don't want to delete it, so is there any way to safe it? >.<

i think some of polygons and structure are corrupt somthing in that model if still buggy even though you converted as other format
so i think one of fastest and clear way is use other 3d applicaton such as 3dsmax,Gmax, or many other tools
and convert model as other format which supported in what you'd use tool and remapping texutres with that tool
but i sugguest you edit polygons a littel bit to merg and edit polygons in the tool
after that try reload model in wings3d
i think that is best way to solve problem as clear

If you created a new model and still have the problem, I would think it's safe to say it's not the model, but rather your texture that's the issue. I'm not very familiar with wings, but I believe there are some restriction on the file type and size of the images you upload as texture. You should check to make sure it meets any requirements. Trying applying a different texture to see if it just doesn't like that one. Does the texture reappear when you reselect the object? Or does it stay gone after the first time you unselect it? Have you attempted to render the model to see if the texture shows up despite not being visible in wings? Are you using UV mapping? Because I know there's a couple issues with that and wings.
