I need a hint for the valkyrie ball room...
Demon and don't get it... we made somehow appear a 6 : 2... but only 3 times when we did random stuff figuring out how this could work. I guess we need to throw the ball in that sequence, but where is the 1 for each player? top or bottom? ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

@Ahli, the valkyre room works like a coordinate.
When it displays 3 -:- 3 you have to bring the valkyrie [or let it move over] the 3x3 coordinate. It says the X-Coordinate -:- Y-Coordinate. Hope it's clear now. Thanks, but what puzzles do you mean? [for example]Storyline... maybe, not sure, but I can pormise you that I won't make any more puzzles for the next half year. Have you ever made a puzzle map? The 2 main problems are: -> Ideas -> Testing And even worse: Puzzle maps are cool, but fckng boring for the author, because he knows how the puzzles works which means that it's a "walktough-map" instead of a "puzzle-map" for the author. Oh, and I may make a big RPG for the Last Stand 2009 conest. Not sure, I'm busy at the moment. EDIT: Thank you, unholyuine, for the review. The one that I had the most trouble understanding was the one where you stand on the squares, and scantids would spawn at other spots. Me and my buddy never quite understood that. And yeah I understand why it would suck to be a maker But you could also look at this map as being a challenge for you, to test our logic mentality, or to test our frustration XDOh and no, I haven't made a puzzle map for only because I would not be able to play it ._. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

Good map so far, Me and a friend of mine have had alot of fun so far, we are at the valks, And don't quite understand what to do, I'm sure we will figure it out.
There has been some issues, And it makes the game alot harder, and not in the good way, is having like Burrowed or cloaked units or w/e, on all the squares and shit, Its hard to actually CLICK on the square to make your zealot go there, almost all the time, the zealots just walk up to the square, since its hard to actually Click on the square, Me and my friend really disliked that, since it takes your control away from you, And makes alot of it, Not if you could do it. But if your stupid zealot would actually go to the square x_x. Also, The whole "Instant Screen moving 24/7" was really annoying :/, Esp on the room's where you couldn't really see the bottom or top of it, because you couldn't scroll even a tad lol. Okay: New Rating.. Total Score: 6/10 Trigger work 2/2 Terrain 2/2 Puzzles 2/2 Documentation/User Friendliness 0/4 Honestly.. There is almost no real description, Of the map, Or what the hell your supposed to do.. I mean, You kind of leave the users, just hanging there.. Some of the rooms, are just plain stupid, because of 0 Documentation... The Difficulty wasn't the problem, With some teamwork, it was quite fun and enjoyable. But that all didn't last long.. Me and my friend had lots of fun playing the first half.. But we couldn't finish it, Because of the Valkyrie room, What the hell is it? All we get is random numbers "3-3" "1-7" "6-2" And shit, And some random timer going off, with not even a Ounce of what the hell were supposed to do, Me and my friend spent over 45minutes on the valk room, even read the walk through for it, which Odly enough, The Valkyrie part of it, was kinda crappy.. "If you touch the valk it's ordered to alli. Make it touch 3x3, 7x1, 6x5. Timer is reset." Wow, Very Descriptive x_x, We wanted to use the walk through just so we can get past this stupid level, and actually play the map.. What we got from this is "Touching the Valk Makes it move to your ally" Which was hard enough with your choice of words.. "Ordered to alli" Makes it seem like it Allies us? x_x, Anyways "Make it Touch 3x3 7x1 6x5, Timer Is Reset" What the Hell is 3x3 7x1 6x5..? And whats the timer even about? It just randomly goes from 6-5-4-3-2-1-0, And nothing happens? Please explain what the hell your supposed to even do? So I can rate the rest of your map x_x. k, I also thought about a storyline, but I'm very busy atm, sorry.
The valk room works like this: the first coordinate is "3 -:- 3" it means you have to bring the valkyire over the coordinate 3X, 3 Y. the 1X, 1Y point is at the bottom left. When you succesfully brought the valkyrie over that square a timer starts and a new coordinate appears, bring the valkyire over that coordinate before the timer reaches 0. When the timer reached 0 it reset's the puzzle, so you have to start with "3 -:-3" again. I hope it's clear now. ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |

I didt complete it yet; to be honest I looked in the guide for some rooms
1) the guide is written in weird way e.g. the "cells" are colled the opposite way than in Excel lol 2) I had no idea why "W>Y" in one of the rooms (maybe it's explained somewhere else?) 3) I had no iea what to do in the "explosions room" (2nd generator) 4) no idea what to do near the exploding vulture other puzzles were great; e.g. the binary one; I hope to complete the map later, with someone who could devote more time (we played for like 1:30 and he quit) ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() |
